🚧𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐮𝐩 for drivers in the 101st St S & Garnett Rd area! Work is scheduled to start on 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟓𝐭𝐡🚧

🚧𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐃 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓 – 𝟏𝟎𝟏𝐬𝐭 & 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Starting 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟱 (weather permitting), the 101st & Garnett intersection will be completely closed for the road widening project.

This is a major phase of construction, and the intersection is expected to remain closed for more than six months.

If this is part of your daily commute, now is a good time to start planning an alternate route. Expect detours, extra travel time, and plenty of construction activity in the area.

We know this will be an inconvenience, but these improvements are being made to help accommodate growth and improve traffic flow for years to come.

Beginning Monday, June 8th, a contractor for Tulsa County will be performing repairs to a bridge located on W 111th St S at approximately 33rd W Ave. The westbound lane will be closed beginning Monday, June 8th for the duration of the repairs. Work is expected to be complete by Friday, May 12th. See comments for map of closure location.

On Monday, June 1st, Tulsa County crews will close the westbound lane of W 121st St S between US Hwy 75 & S Elwood Ave in order to complete necessary pavement repairs. Work is expected to be complete and the lane re-opened by end of day Monday.

Drivers in the area are asked to take alternate routes where possible, use extreme caution when approaching the work zone, and follow the direction of all traffic control signage and flagmen. We appreciate your patience while this work is completed!

Due to heavy rainfall, the following roads are closed:
* Mingo Rd from 56th St N to 66th St N
* 126th St N from 120th E Ave to 124th E Ave
* 136th St N from 141st E Ave to 145th E Ave
* 113th E Ave (Garnett Rd) from 158th St N to 163rd St N

On Monday, May 18th, a contractor for Tulsa County will be performing geotechnical boring on 201st St S between Harvard Ave and Lewis Ave near Liberty High School. The westbound lane will be closed beginning at 8:00am and will be re-opened by 5:00pm that evening.

𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 – 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟕𝐭𝐡 – 𝐁𝐮𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧

On Thursday, May 7th, Tulsa County crews will begin full-depth reclamation (FDR) of the Buford Colony Subdivision located just east of Hwy 97 between W 61st St S and W 51st St S. Once the FDR is complete, crews will be performing a double chip seal surface treatment over the reclamated road base.

With over 4 miles of roadway in the subdivision, the project is expected to take approximately 2 months to complete. Please expect temporary road closures in Buford Colony throughout the duration of the project. Residents and drivers in the area are asked to take alternate routes where possible, use extreme caution when approaching the work zone, and follow the direction of all traffic control signage and flagmen to ensure safe ingress and egress. Please see the below road closure notice from the City of Owasso for April 27th & 28th related to the intersection improvement project at 106th St N & N 129th E Ave.

Road Closures: The contractor for the E. 106th St. N. and N. 129th E. Ave. intersection project will be closing two roads next week in order to install new water line casings.

From 9 p.m. on Monday, April 27, to 6 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, both lanes of N. 129th E. Ave. will be closed at E. 105th St. N. for casing installation.

Then from 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, to 6 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, both lanes of E. 106th St. N. will be closed west of N. 129th E. Ave. for casing installation.

A contractor for Tulsa County will be performing a mill & asphalt overlay on W 41st St from 129th W Ave to Coyote Trail beginning Monday, April 27th. Work is expected to be complete by end of week, weather-permitting.

We encourage drivers to avoid the area and take alternate routes where possible. Traffic will be reduced to one-lane throughout the project and drivers can expect some temporary closures.
