Today, Lilyfield was honored at the Oklahoma State Capitol with the Outstanding Community Builder Award from the Oklahoma State Department of Health as part of their Child Abuse Prevention Awards. 🩵

This recognition reflects the work happening every day through our Westwood Community Collaborative at Will Rogers Courts—where we are aligning partners and working alongside families to reimagine what support looks like in one of Oklahoma City’s most underserved communities.

Through this collaborative effort, Lilyfield is convening nonprofit organizations, government agencies, schools, workforce partners, faith communities, and local businesses to create a more connected and coordinated system of care. By breaking down silos and strengthening partnerships, we are ensuring families can access the support they need in a more seamless and effective way.

This award is a reflection of what’s possible when organizations come together with a shared commitment to children and families. We are grateful for the partners who continue to lead, collaborate, and invest in this work alongside us.

Thank you to our fellow Community Collaborative Representatives from Goodwill and Oklahoma City Housing Authority, along with parents from Will Rogers Courts for coming to celebrate with us.

We’re honored. And we’re just getting started.

Lilyfield announced today a transformational $1 million challenge grant from the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation to help complete the Community of Hope capital campaign and expand and renovate Lilyfield’s Family Resource Center in South Oklahoma City! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

To unlock the full $1 million grant, Lilyfield must raise an additional $1,940,555, a critical step toward breaking ground this fall and bringing this vision to life.

The $4.9 million project will expand Lilyfield’s existing campus by more than 11,000 square feet, creating a centralized hub for counseling, education and family support. Located just 1.5 miles from downtown in the heart of South Oklahoma City, where many families face barriers to housing, transportation and access to care, the Family Resource Center is designed to bring vital services closer to those who need them most. Most services will be offered at low-cost or free of charge, ensuring access for all families.

“This challenge grant is more than a financial commitment; it is an invitation,” said Holly Towers, Executive Director of Lilyfield. “The Mabee Foundation is challenging our community to come together to complete this campaign and build a beacon of hope in the heart of South Oklahoma City, where families can find the support they need to thrive.”

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and our team across Oklahoma kicked things off with a wave of blue! 🌊💙

From Edmond and OKC to Tulsa, and even those currently in training, everyone showed up in their best blue to show that child safety is our top priority. Our statewide team is standing together to remind our community that prevention is possible.

Our Tulsa location has set their pinwheels, where they stand as a symbol of hope. By supporting families, strengthening communities, and raising our voices, we can create a protective "safety net" for every child.

Lilyfield Spirit Week is officially here! 🩵

We kicked things off with Matching Day, 👯 It’s more than just a fun outfit, by twinning with our colleagues, we’re highlighting a powerful truth: children truly thrive when caring adults work together in harmony.

We also spent some time brightening up our curb with Pinwheels for Prevention to share a message of hope with our community. These spinning blue pinwheels represent the bright, happy childhood every kid deserves. 🌀✨

Every child deserves to grow up with safety, care, and unconditional love. Together, we can make that a reality!

Keep an eye on our page all week as we celebrate the power of prevention and community!
