So I got an amazing gig a few days ago. UFC legend Chael Sonnen was in Tulsa to attend the NCAA Wrestling tournament and his producer needed a videographer/camera operator to shoot some videos of Chael over several days for his massive YouTube channel and other social media following.
Chael was truly a pleasure to work with. He's a consummate pro, a gracious host and a real gentleman. We celebrated our youngest son Josh's nineteenth birthday yesterday and Chael didn't hesitate to say yes when I asked if Josh and our oldest son Drew could accompany me to the final video shoot last night.
Thanks again to Chael and his producer, Ryan Parsons for an awesome experience!

Had a great shoot with Jimmy"THE BRICK"Flick yesterday at The Parlour Hair & Ink of Jimmy getting some work done on an epic lower leg tattoo.
As Jimmy"THE BRICK"Flick prepares for his UFC comeback fight in Las Vegas on Saturday, January 14th, I'm releasing a preview of the short documentary I've been shooting for almost a year (with more still to shoot) about Jimmy's life, retirement and comeback. I am planning to release the film this spring.
When I met Jimmy about a year and half ago, I liked him immediately and thought his story would make a compelling documentary. I can honestly say that my admiration and respect for him has only grown since then. He has overcome so much adversity in his life and worked incredibly hard to achieve his dreams. It has been a privilege and a real pleasure to work on this project and although I can't wait for people to see it, I will be sad to have this experience come to an end.
I'm particularly grateful to Jimmy for his unwavering support and participation in this project. A special thanks is owed to Jimmy's coach, Leo Perrucci of Forza Combat Sports and Fitness for letting me film so many of Jimmy's workouts and always being so accommodating. Thanks also to Broadway Barber Shop, CrossFit Sand Springs, RYAN BJJ and Charles Page High School for allowing me to film Jimmy at their respective locations.

I've been having so much fun shooting Jimmy"THE BRICK"Flick for our upcoming documentary about his fascinating and inspirational story. Thanks to Matthew "Mitchy Slick" Mitchell of Broadway Barber Shop for letting me shoot Jimmy at the shop today. Thanks also to Jimmy's coach, Leo Perrucci of Forza Combat Sports and Fitness for letting me shoot so many of Jimmy's workout sessions as he prepares for his UFC comeback fight on January 14th.
I plan to release a preview of the documentary in a few weeks. Stay tuned for updates.
