I can’t tell yall how much today means to us and we are just so dad gum thankful for all of this! And for all of you! Thank you for closing our food truck chapter with a big bang! We are honored and our hearts are so full 🥹🙏🏼

It’s been a really wild journey with this here trailer. Four years ago we just took it like we got it and ran with it. Gray and boring. We slapped up a banner and opened up The Bayou to the world.

The kids helped us paint it green and purple (the dreaded short lived Barney era). We eventually did her all black and gold. That was the prime time for the Bayou food truck. Then she ended up pink as we took her around as Ruby D’s Street Eats. And now we strip it all away to pass her on to a fellow entrepreneur to start their journey.

She’s been to a whole lot of big Oklahoma food truck events. She’s helped us support our big family. She’s helped us win big awards. She’s even tried to kill us a couple of times 😂. But she’s been really good to us.

Something about ending this chapter feels so full circle. As we scrapped and peeled and chipped away all the layers and all the chapters, it feels so good to be closing this part of the story… the “do it yourself” part.

We have come so far in our entrepreneurial journey. We have teams, resources, a brick and mortar! And soon maybe even another one to add to our family. We have been grateful for every last ounce of the ride. But it seems that our food truck days are at last coming to an end.

So come see us one last time in this ol’ trusty trailer. We will be serving up that bayou food for the final time in a food truck. This Saturday at The Nook in Broken Arrow 12-4! 🙏🏼

Delicious food, super excellent value, plant based options, and a very big and lovely tree to enjoy it all under. But our favorite part is the excellent customer service and love. From one husband and wife food truck super duo to another- thank you for your hospitality 🖤
