We are excited to share that we are bringing ACEing Autism to Tulsa through First Serve Tulsa 🎾💙

ACEing Autism is a national nonprofit founded in 2008 in Boston by Richard Spurling and Dr. Shafali Jeste. What began with a small group of 15 children has grown into a nationwide program serving thousands of athletes across the country.

Their mission is to help children with autism grow through tennis by building social connection, improving motor skills and coordination, and creating a supportive environment where every athlete can learn and succeed at their own pace.

We are currently looking for:
✨ Athletes with autism to participate
✨ Volunteers to support and encourage athletes during sessions
(No tennis experience required!)

This program is about more than tennis — it’s about inclusion, confidence, community, and connection on and off the court 💙

We’re excited to welcome Amber Hendrix to First Serve Tulsa as our new Fundraising Coordinator! 🎉

Amber brings a strong background in nonprofit leadership, marketing, and fund development, along with a passion for building meaningful community partnerships. An Oklahoma State University alum and Claremore native, she has been an active member of the Tulsa tennis community since returning in 2022.

Her love for the game and heart for serving others make her a perfect fit for our mission of empowering youth through tennis and education. 🎾

When she’s not on the court, Amber enjoys traveling with her husband Trevor and spending time with their three dogs—Charles, Loretta, and Merle.

Spring Break Camp was one for the books ☀️🎾 So much growth, energy, and fun packed into a few days—we love seeing these athletes shine on and off the court!

We also want to give a HUGE shoutout to Coach Alan. The absolute best volunteer, and someone who has poured so much into our program and players. We are beyond grateful for everything he’s done.

While we’re so sad to see him go, we know he’s onto great things. You will be dearly missed, Coach Alan! 💙
