Practice is in the books and we are ready for the DRC tomorrow and Saturday! MASSIVE thank you to Elijah and the Ashworth Family for coming on board to make this weekend possible. I might be biased.. but I have the best supporters ever and I am so grateful for you all. Takes a village and you guys play a key role in my journey.

Fun fact: my first ever race at Port City Raceway was the Donnie Ray Crawford Legacy Foundation race in 2022 and a year later, we came back to race the DRC again and found a house to move into. Uprooted from Arizona and Port City Raceway became our new home track in 2023. Crazy how life works out. Grateful to have a chance to run this race again!

This upcoming week is one of the most anticipated races of the year, the Donnie Ray Crawford Legacy Foundation race at Port City Raceway. It’s 3 days of racing (if you include practice night) and I am seeking help from any businesses that would like to partner for the weekend so I can race!

For those who have kept up with my racing over the years you know last year we had a very tough season. Countless nights spent in the infield and a lot of frustration with not being able to complete most races due to mechanical issues. Fast forward to yesterday we were able to get our fueling issue resolved and Tony Morris had the mint machine dialed. I was running second in my heat and somehow all my sprocket bolts completely came out and left one sheared off. It was a freak deal but ended up being a blessing later on. I started dead last in the b-main and was able to string together laps AND ACTUALLY FINISH A RACE. It felt great to be able to try different lines and feel comfortable in the car again especially since my flip at the shootout. To me, that’s a win itself.

Proud of our small team and forever grateful for all the hard work Tony puts into not just our program itself but my racing. When you face a lot of tribulations in this sport it’s important to have a support system that reminds you to never give up and to be there for those lows. I couldn’t chase this dream without him!

Now we just need to build on our consistency and get the mint machine in victory lane. Thank you to everyone who’s been riding with me on this crazy journey all these years.

Good news: we got the fueling issue sorted
Bad news: we had a parts failure in the heat race while running second. Don’t ask me how as we are meticulous with going over things but somehow every bolt but one came out of our sprocket. Got it fixed and I start dead last in the B-Main. Top 6 transfer, time to hammer down and get some seat time nonetheless!
