I have been quiet on socials but that doesn’t mean we aren’t putting in the work to gear up for the rest of the year! Thanks to Trailer Alarms, I am set up for events like PRI in December and Tulsa Shootout so I don’t freeze lol.

I truly believe it’s not just who you surround yourself with, but what you surround yourself with. You become a byproduct of your surroundings.

We’ve had some tough seasons—dealing with things completely out of our control. Sometimes it’s easy to get buried in the hard nights and lose sight of why you keep pushing. Sometimes throwing in the towel feels like the easier option.

I’ve always been big on celebrating even the small milestones, because they add up to something much bigger in the end. I even still have the payouts from my very first kart race, and they remind me just how far I’ve come.

This frame is no different.

Since I’ve been out of the seat, I put together a collection of some of the small accomplishments I’ve checked off at Port City Raceway this year—goals that were once just a list:

• Get my first heat race win
• Get a Top 10
• Get a B-Main win
• Make my first DRC A-Main

To some, these might seem small. Maybe even easy or not worth remembering.

But to our little team, they mean everything.

They’re reminders that we can do this. That all the late nights, long drives, broken parts, frustration and hard days are worth it.

I saw this quote the other day:

“Failure and success are the same road. It’s just that failure is an earlier exit.”

Racing has more lows than highs. There are nights where you question everything and wonder if it’s worth continuing.

But when you remember your why and keep pushing anyway, eventually you look back and realize those hard nights were part of getting you here.

Celebrate the small wins. Keep showing up. Keep going. The little things add up. 🏁
