Roof torn off, siding removed and step flashing being taken off.

Step flashing is one of the most vital, if not most vital, components of a roofing system.

Don’t allow your roofer to skip this stuff if it’s in bad shape.

This house has 3.5”x2” step flashing.

Code requires a 4”x4” step flashing.
