Got the studs and nuts extracted ports cleaned up and new gasket in and tightened

Today changing the pass side exhaust manifold gasket on a 2009 Ford F150 5.4
Make sure you check your wheels in case they are bent. Here is one that’s already been powdered and was sold as straight.

So working on this R6 motor to stab it found the area right above the sprocket someone had slathered JB Weld on the case. Removed it to find a nice crack from them snapping a chain then it breaking the case. Cleaned it all off, preheated the surface and welded. Took a bit cause it was so nasty but got it done and now it’s in the chassis!

Welded, drilled, tapped and new Vortex rear sets installed

Paused on Welding) the motorcycle and ran up to Sunstate Equipment for a quick aluminum repair weld

So on an 02 Yamaha R6 the foot peg holes are just 1/2 hole off from the 03-05 chassis. Problem is Vortex does not make the O2 R6 foot pegs anymore so since they still make the 03 adjustable units we’re gonna have to weld these holes up center punch drill and tap. Pretty straightforward and easy.
