Fuel tank in the cobra emptied and dropped. Had to make up a -6AN line to get fuel out so we can drop the tank to see what size and length the sending unit was to order the correct one for the original Smith gauge

Switching gears today. 1965 Shelby, COBRA Dash. New old stock Lucas switches being fit and the original owner put a blasphemous radio in it. Don’t ask me why, piece of aluminum and fiberglass backing. Now once it dries flip it over finish filling from the front and sand everything flush. Prepping for dash recovering and brand new Smith gauges. Will be period correct for 1965, including all of the original correct k***s from England!

Well found another broke part. They left hand controls the k**b on the inside that's supposed to locate it on the handlebar is broke. So they did the old race trick, which is wrap some electrical tape around the bar and clamp it back on. Works at the racetrack can't say anything did it at Texas World and other tracks so I'm gonna do the exact same thing until I buy another set.

Motion Pro Rev 3 throttle with Road Race insert installed. Original throttle when the bike was purchased was compromised not only from the crash but a bent handlebar. You try to open it up and it slowly closes. With the new Motion Pro Rev 3 throttle assembly it opens and snaps closed like it’s supposed to!
