Feeling elated. Leslie Vaughn just had surgery on the blocked neck artery. Everything went well. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.,

Update on Leslie Vaughn. She is doing fine but remains in the hospital with an almost complete blockage of an artery in her neck. Waiting to hear game plan from the doc. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers up to this point.

Leslie Vaughn update. She is up walking, talking, eating etc( if you get my meaning)
She had a stroke that was the result of not enough O2 to the brain. She is being transfered to the St Francis heart hospital tonight or tomorrow to evaluate the blocked artery for possible intervention to open it up. The stroke did effect the part of the brain that regulates impulse control & memory so she will be a little more dingy than normal. No apparent weakness. Thank you everyone for your prayers. HE is the great healer and has answered everyone's prayers. Even if you are a nonbeliver, Leslie is and believes your prayers did make a difference.

Leslie Vaughn, the lady with the many colored hair that sat at the front desk and did so many other things, has had a stroke. It is on the right side of her brain effecting the left side of her body. (She is left handed.) It happened early Wednesday morning so we still don't know anything. Currently in St Francis South. Please keep her and her family in your prayers. More when we know more.
