Quick update….. melons will not be ready until June/July when melons are in season. It was bright to my attention that someone is in our spot currently. That is not Melon Man but feel free to check him out! Manager of Advance Auto Parts confirmed that this is still our home during the summer so have no worries!

3rd Annual Melon Fest Recap!

Thank you to everyone who attended, who helped and especially the kiddos that participated in the melon eating contest! It was not easy putting this together this year and it really took a village that I am extremely grateful for. All the kids had a great time and I think everyone walked away with a door prize and smile. Next year will be bigger and better as we will start planning in January 2026!

It's raining a little too hard to come out this morning, Melon R's! If you have plans to be out of town or at the lake and need a melon, contact me after 5 p.m. today. I'll have melons at the restaurant. If not, I look forward to seeing everyone at Melon Fest! If you haven't registered yet, please make sure to register. Kids need to be registered as well. Monday will be the last day for whole melon sales if they don't sell out at Melon Fest. ❤️

Last trip of the season… man time flew 🥹

Well everyone… the time has come 🥹. It's officially the last week for melons, and what a journey it has been! This season has been a resounding success, and we're thrilled to have made it possible to host the 3rd Annual Melon Fest! This week's schedule is a little different, so please read the schedule below and plan accordingly.

Melon Fest is free, but you must register and present ticket to attend. Step up to the Grill is a free annual community event where we will be selling slices and whole melons, and we invite you to join us for an uplifting evening of good food and community spirit! We strongly encourage you to attend the event and come out to enjoy some delicious smoked eats that will inspire your senses!

3rd Annual Melon Fest Get ready for the juiciest event of the year - our 3rd Annual Melon Fest is back with sweet treats, games, and fun for everyone!

We haven’t played a guessing game all year…

So let’s give away a free melon!

This was a melon picked off of trailer yesterday in which I was going to keep but customer arm wrestled me and won. The person that comes the closest down to pounds and ounces win! Winner announced tomorrow and can pick up through Sunday their free melon! Tomorrow picture of weight will be posted in comments. Competition ends tomorrow at 12P.

Fresh melons will be on the way late tomorrow evening. I’ll be loading up at 6P and plan on getting back in town around 9P. I’ll be at the restaurant helping close down until around 11P if you need a late night snack. If not, I look forward to seeing everyone Friday and Saturday.
