If you're over 40 and feel like your body changed overnight, listen to this. ❤️❤️

You may be blaming willpower, but your body may be dealing with hormone shifts, blood suger changes, inflammation, gut issues, poor sleep, stress, or metabolic resistance. That is why eating less is not always the answer.

Comment RESET and we'll send you information about the Summer Reset Consultation.

URGENT COMMUNITY NEED 💧

Dr. Junegrid Baker with What Jesus Will Do Ministries shared that there is an immediate and desperate need for bottled water at the downtown Tulsa Salvation Army location.

If you are able to help today, even a small case of water can make a difference for someone in need during this heat.

Please consider dropping off bottled water as soon as possible and feel free to share this post so we can reach more people quickly.

Tulsa has always been a community that shows up for others when it matters most. Let’s do that again today. ❤️

Can’t focus? Forgetting simple things? Walking into rooms wondering why you’re there?

Brain fog is incredibly common… but it is not normal.

Inflammation, stress overload, poor gut health, blood sugar instability, toxins, poor sleep, and nervous system dysfunction can all impact cognitive clarity.

You deserve to feel sharp, energized, and mentally present again.

Today, during Men’s Health Awareness Month, we celebrate a moment that means so much. 💙

Scott rang the bell after completing chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

Behind moments like this are months of courage, exhaustion, uncertainty, resilience, and the determination to keep fighting even on the hardest days.

At the Lifestyle Medicine Research & Education Institute, we believe healing support matters before, during, and after a diagnosis.

Too many men spend years pushing through stress, fatigue, pain, and symptoms without slowing down to care for their health.

This month is a reminder:
Prevention matters.
Healing matters.
And support matters.

Today we celebrate survivorship, strength, and hope for every person still in the fight. 🎗️

“This is resilience.”

MYTH: Feeling tired, inflamed, foggy, and unhealthy is just “part of getting older.”

TRUTH: Your body was designed to heal, repair, and function better than most people realize. 💙

So many symptoms people accept as “normal aging” may actually be connected to things like chronic inflammation, poor gut health, stress overload, nutrient deficiencies, and metabolic dysfunction.

At LMREI, we believe health isn’t about masking symptoms.
It’s about understanding WHY the body is struggling.

You deserve to feel good again. ✨

You don’t realize how bad you’ve felt… until you finally start feeling better. 💛

More energy.
Better sleep.
Less brain fog.
Reduced inflammation.
Feeling like *yourself* again.

That’s what we keep hearing from patients walking through our doors.

So many people think feeling exhausted, inflamed, stressed, or stuck is just part of getting older, but often, your body is trying to tell you something. 👀

At LMREI, Dr. Wendy focuses on getting to the *root cause* instead of just masking symptoms.

If you’ve been wondering whether your body could feel better than it does right now… this might be your sign to start asking questions.

A little behind-the-scenes moment from LMREI 👀

Some of our best conversations happen in between appointments. Brainstorming ways to better support our patients, celebrating victories, and hearing stories abut lives being changed.

This work is personal to us, and we never take your trust for granted. 💛

No one should have to walk through life’s hardest seasons alone. 🤍

At Lifestyle Medicine Research & Education Institute, we believe healing happens through connection, compassion, and community.

As part of our community outreach, we’re honored to offer our venue as a meeting space for support groups during times our office is closed.

We welcome:
• Cancer support groups
• Grief support groups
• Mental health support groups
• Caregiver groups
• Other medical or wellness support communities

If your group is looking for a peaceful, comfortable place to gather, we would love to serve you.

Because sometimes the most powerful medicine is simply knowing you’re not alone. ❤️
