Showing off one of our favorite bar projects from last month! This custom Harley store owner in Collinsville, OK, was adding on a bar to the back of his show room and shop, and wanted to tie the entire space together with a Harley Davidson color-way floor to compliment the murals and long standing biker philosophies.

We installed a hand troweled 4” cove base mortar system, moisture v***r barrier base coat, and high strength polyaspartic top coat. Thrilled with the results, can’t wait to stop by when they open in late spring!

Thrilled to share one of our most recent projects we completed for Adjuvant Unlimited’s chemical plant and laboratory! With the demands around the facility - from heavy forklift traffic to dangerous chemicals all around - they needed a flooring system that provides the necessary durable, chemical resistant, and hygienic qualities required in the environment. Not to forget the cosmetic upgrade along the way, either! Our coatings provide ultimate protection that can be designed to accommodate any environment.

Another Dakota Trail floor! 🥾 ⛰️

Happily took the grinder to this DIY coating!

Just because it’s a DIY kit does not mean it’s easy to do. The product still needs to be installed very quickly or it could start to solidify before you are done. Most of them are 50% solids at best, meaning that half the product you put on the floor is going to ev***rate compared to a 100% solids coatings where you don’t lose any product. Additionally, DIY kits provide you with 5-10lbs of flakes for a two car garage and we are going to broadcast around 80-120lbs of flakes for that same floor. All of these extra flakes provide depth, solidity and traction. Professional coatings are usually three to six times thicker than the DIY approach offering better strength and durability overtime. The list goes on and on. If you are someone that’s been on the fence of doing a DIY floor or having a professional do it, I would suggest you do your research into the comparisons. Go with a professional installer!

Sharing this recent project we completed for you all to see - but also to shed light on an important and valuable factor you might not be aware of as a homeowner. Having a professional floor coating installed can increase the property value of your home by as much as $8/sq. ft!

This customer had an old, worn out epoxy flake floor that was failing and wanted us to remove the existing coating and put in a new one with the exact same flake blend. Easy day! We turned this around for them in no time and it looks spectacular.

One of our latest projects out of Oklahoma City, where we installed a unique quartz floor system for a great customer! This one had control joints that we chose to honor, along with a generous amount of stem walls but we made it work and far exceeded the homeowner’s expectations. These quartz floor systems possess a sharp look, but the biggest attraction is their exceptional durability and slip resistant qualities, making them a safe and practical option for a wide array of projects. Once again, the customer could not have been more pleased with the result.

This next project was in Bartlesville, OK, for a wonderful homeowner that wanted to have the floor in her sun room done, but was unsure of what exactly to do with it. She wanted to coat the floor and incorporate some earth tones along with some blue color. We recommended the “Dakota Trail” flake blend to compliment the beautiful interior rock fountain as well as the surrounding white brick, but also add some flare with the two-tone blue. The homeowner agreed and was thrilled with the result!

For the equipment shown, we use the 20” Lavina 20GE Planetary grinder to remove the existing top layer of concrete to achieve the desired surface profile. Also featured is the VFG Combo 20 Professional HEPA Dust extractor, which is used to eliminate concrete dust from going everywhere, and to thoroughly vacuum the entire floor. If you want to get your prep work done correctly, these two pieces of equipment are essential.
Once the prep work was complete, we layed down a 2-part, 100% solids Moisture V***r Barrier Epoxy coating and then broadcasted the Dakota Trail flakes to rejection to achieve full coverage.
For the top coat, we used a 90% solids UV resistant Polyaspartic clear coat to seal the floor.
The results were incredible and truly transformed this sun room and the homeowner couldn’t have been happier! We had a great time on this project and we were happy to serve this great customer.
