When the system fails, community steps up. 💛
While programs like SNAP were cut and government shutdowns left families struggling, our TICN community refused to stand by. With your donations and 7 generous volunteers, we delivered meals to 45 people across 16 households, making sure no one in our neighborhood went hungry this month.
This is what real care looks like. People showing up for one another, sharing what they have, and proving that community can thrive even when institutions fall short.
Thanks to your generosity, we provided all meals for just $615, stretching every dollar to reach as many families as possible.
Because while policies fail, neighbors don’t. 🍲💛

It’s Time for November Meal Train!
Our next grocery and meal delivery is Friday, November 22, so get your requests in by November 15 using the link in our bio.
We want to take a moment to thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we took a pause in October. Our small volunteer team needed time to rest and regroup so we can keep showing up for our community with care and consistency.
We’re back, and we can’t wait to share food and connection with y’all again this month.

no experience is required to get involved. maybe you've always been interested in planning q***r community events but have zero event planning experience. who cares?? come figure it out w us.
there are opportunities for delivering meals/groceries, cooking, grocery shopping, meal planning, event planning, community organizing, finances, social media, and so much more.
