At KNOWN Memory Care we learned some fun facts in sewing club. Zippers were invented in 1893. Yup! they are way over a hundred year old now. Initially they were only used on shoes and boots to make wearing them faster. But slowly they gained favour and made their way onto garments.
Today at Known Memory Care we had an Ice cream social. Check out our residents showing off their dance moves. Thank you Live well hospice for the awesome entertainment.
Here at Known Memory Care we had a wonderful time with our spiritual service. The residents love singing along with chaplain Randy from Live well Hospice.

We celebrated a 50th anniversary. Togetherness through life’s ups and downs has taught them teamwork, tolerance for each other’s habits has taught them patience and support during each other’s crises has taught them solidarity. Happy anniversary to the wonderful couple from Known Memory Care.

Dance movement therapy allows those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia to move as a means to communicate, which helps them develop a “physical vocabulary,” according to experts. Here at Known Memory Care our dance therapy.
