Copelin Forge

I’m a little behind on posting projects, but I did have the pleasure to forge another rapier for a wedding! The custom theme was very Cajun, with sassafras leaves and a couple flur de lis! If I keep this up I’m going to turn into a guy who only makes rapiers!

I was blessed with a really neat opportunity to make a rapier that would turn out to be a wedding gift! It was really outside of my comfort zone and experience, but with enough help I was able to put something together everyone was happy with and learn a lot of lessons along the way! This rapier was 42” long tip to pommel and weighed a (heavier than I wanted, but) pleasant 2lbs 10oz! Wrapped up in a wood core scabbard and custom engraving I was very heart broken to see it go!

I’ve been making swords recently! Probably my last Breath of the Wild sword for a little while, but this is the soldier’s broadsword! Probably gonna look pretty sick hanging in my living room!

I love how this kitchen blade came out! It was a very interesting order and a ton of fun to build!

Was blessed with the opportunity to create this bowie for a friend at church! Honestly, I learned just as much about leather as I did steel while making this big beautiful blade!
Cocobola handles just never disappoint either
