One River

We are SO excited to be blessing and launching The Flow Room in Tulsa! This is a central hub space for One River - a place for personal prayer, for small groups to meet, for creativity to flow, for late night worship, for multi-organizational collaboration, and more. It is meant as a gift to be utilized by the Church of Tulsa (all of them!).

Join us for a night of fellowship and prayer. The space will be outfitted with prayer stations. Outside there will be prayer walks, a fire pit, and space for kids to play. After a time of blessing the space, a chili potluck will follow. You - and your community - are welcome!

Pausing midday can be a beautiful part of a personal prayer rule. It gives an opportunity in the middle of all the bustle to re-center our mind and heart on the Author and Finisher of our faith.

If you are looking for a midday prayer, I am currently loving this one from the Ancient Faith Prayer Book and thought I'd share.

By His Cross, Jesus Christ ripped up the record of our sins and triumphed over the principalities and powers of darkness! 🙌🫶

I just want to highlight The Prayer Studio at 631 N Denver Ave - It repons Sept 1: downstairs!! It is cool, beautiful, and accessible. Props to all those who have put time, effort, love, and prayer into this. We are grateful for the part we play!

It's hot out!! Please pray for those on the streets tonight, and for ministries like Thursday Night Lights who seek to serve them diligently each week through it all.

Tonight was especially sweet because friends who serve with TNL celebrated their baby's first birthday with our unhoused friends. In addition to sharing dinner, there were Popsicles and fun temporary tattoos, and we had the chance to really enjoy one another even in the heat!

We love She Brews Coffee Roasters! This supply closet turned prayer room is such a sacred space. We are so grateful for the honor of working on it. Next week we will come with a few more supplies, and it'll be fully stocked!

We are working on a new website to better flesh out all that we do. Here is a quick shareable we just finished today! If any of this brings up questions- ask! It's meant to be a talking point. And if it all makes sense, feel free to share with others and spread the word about what One River is all about - accessible prayer and unity in the Church!

Oh my goodness. The Just Bus is home safe. We love this mobile prayer space and the mission it carries.

Both front tires have now been fully replaced. And it took 5 friends to make it happen, inlcuding a late night rescue ride home with our mobile prayer room left on the side of the highway 🥺 I am so grateful for our community and for God's protection and presence throughout. We are tired!! But we are so happy the Just Bus is home.

We are going to be getting the back tires professionally checked and likely changed out. We have so many upcoming missional plans for the Just Bus teamed up with nonprofits and churches, going to people with prayer and sacred space. If you would like to invest in its essential updates, that would be a beautiful way to play a part. One River functions through community engagement and generosity.
