This Tualatin-based, veteran-owned brewery will be serving up their craft creations as we gather in celebration of veterans, our team, and our community. Along with Ancestry, Dauntless Wine Cømpany and special guests from Paws Assisting Veterans will be joining us.

Last night in Bend, our crew embraced their inner Addams at the APWA Oregon Fall Conference.

Central Engineering Services is celebrating our 10th year in business. We will be having an Open House on November 6 (3:30–6:30 PM), with guests Dauntless Wine Cømpany, a Forest Grove winery founded by veterans and rooted in purpose.

Their nonprofit, the Dauntless Veteran Foundation, helps veterans transition from military life into agriculture, providing the tools and training to qualify for first-time farmer loans.

We’ll be serving Dauntless wines along with beverages from Ancestry Brewing. Paws Assisting Veterans (PAVE) will also be joining us as special guests.

🐾 We’re excited to share that Paws Assisting Veterans (PAVE) will be joining us for our Open House on November 6!

PAVE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that trains service dogs to help veterans living with visible and invisible disabilities. Guests will see to see some working dogs along with their veteran, as well as watch dogs in training demonstrating some of the important work they do.

Progress along the Nyberg Creek Trail! 🌿
Our team is providing geotechnical construction observation services to support trail construction - verifying that the earthwork is completed in accordance with report recommendations and helping ensure the new pathway is built on solid ground.

From observing subgrade preparation to preparing field reports and recommendations, our geotechnical staff is helping create a trail that will serve the community for years to come. And we had a curious raccoon stop by to check on our work! 🦝

September 27 is Public Lands Day🌎
Public lands give us trails, parks, and open spaces which connect us to nature and to one other. Our team has been fortunate to work in places like Glacier Bay National Park and BLM lands in Oregon, supporting projects that help maintain safe access while respecting the environment.

We’re grateful for the volunteers and partners who care for these lands—not just today, but all year long.

🍂🐾 Fall foliage and cute canines make for fun, frolicking, and great photos.

Autumn leaves, however, don’t always stay where we want them. Piling up, they can clog storm drains—causing flooding and sending pollutants into our rivers.
Storm drainage, site stability, infiltration testing - seasonal shifts keep us busy supporting the spaces where our communities gather, work, and play.
Everyone can make a difference: rake leaves away from drains and never dump yard waste in the street. Small steps, big impact. 💧

☀️🍉 Nothing says summer like a picnic in the park!
Our team gathered over the weekend at Champoeg State Park to celebrate and to close out the season with delicious food, great company, and lots of laughter.
It’s always special to spend time together outside the office. 🧺

On this Day of Remembrance, we reflect on September 11, 2001 — honoring those we lost, the first responders, and all who showed strength in the face of tragedy.

Happy Founders Day to the National Park Service! Since August 25, 1916, the NPS has cared for some of America’s most beautiful and meaningful places. We appreciate the ongoing work to protect these landscapes, and we’re proud to play a part in stewarding the environments where we live and work.

It’s Professional Engineers Day, and we’re giving a shout-out to our Licenced Engineers: Sam Jackson, Blayne Sandau, Jessica Pence, Zane Rogers, and Reed Kistler. 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️
