Brake, throttle modulation in undulating terrain is a challenge for most folks. Add in the complexity of winching operations, keeping the line taunt while not applying too much brake input to continue forward motion is key. This truck/camper combo is 11,000 lbs wet, controlling the tippy motion and minimizing winch line slack is next level.
Late summer/fall class schedule will be available by the end of June! We have 4 dates currently planned for vehicle operation, recovery, always popular trail prep/repair and new event sand dunes driving trip!!

In this scenario, a social media influencer has driven off a “shelf road ledge”. The Lexus behind the Taco has deployed the winch line out to a suitable anchor on a redirect to the Tacos slider to anchor down the Taco. With no suitable anchor for the Taco to attach to we deployed the to winch the Taco.
By winching the Taco you mitigate wheel spin and potential of sliding off the “shelf road ledge”. As the Taco winches forward the Lexus slowly lets the winch line out maintaining the downward force on the Taco but allowing forward movement in a pendulum arch.
