The Isaiah Connection

Yesterday most of our team members ended up heading home! Please be praying that their lives are forever changed by the love of the Lord and by the stories of the community! It was a fabulous week and the Lord did great things!

Friday after both camps are finished, we invite the children and their parents, grandparents or guardians into the church to partake in an award ceremony and desert social! Very thankful for the opportunity to pour back into the adults and thank them for the opportunity to hang with their kids this week!

This week at VBS one of our team members told the kids that if whoever brings the most friends would have the opportunity to dump ice water on him. So it turned into not only one bucket but 4!! This was probably the easiest shower of the week for him but we are not sure if the ocean or the ice water was colder!

This week we also had the honor of going down to the long house! We even handed out prayer pins and homemade jars of jam made by one of the youth groups leaders to people in the community as a thank you for allowing our team to step in and come alongside the community!

This coaching crew was fabulous! Beyond thankful for these people whop said yes to joining us in the mission field!

Who doesn’t love some good sidewalk chalk? Especially when it is scriptural.

Wednesday evening we were able to host a youth night down at the beach! It was full of games, s’mores, smiles and great conversations! We had a really great turn out for our very first one! Thank you to all you youth who showed up! We love you so very much!

Beyond gratful for what the Lord did during basketball this week! Our numbers weren’t huge but we were able to love on each of them with the love of Christ!

Theses ladies were able to organize and straighten up the food pantry at one of the churches!
