The countdown is at one month until my new album and album release concert!
The cover art for “Structural Integrity” was painted by my childhood friend . Like most of the recordings on the album, the artwork was made on our hometown of Bainbridge Island, Washington. But it’s got a desert flavor, giving it a connection to the two US regions I’ve lived in. Thank you Henry for your talents and inspiration!

I wrote this song nearly a year ago, and it will be on my forthcoming album, but now seems a good a time as ever to share it. As the year comes to close, I just wanted to send a big thank you to all who’ve supported me in 2025. Whether that’s through kind words, a tip, buying my music or coming to one of my gigs, it’s all part of the fuel that allows me to keep this musical dream alive and well.
I’ve been writing, recording and performing for over 20 years (shoutout Soundproof Highway!), and this year may have been the best yet, with 100 performances and a whole bunch of new, soon-to-be released songs. As dark times engulf our country and much of the world, I’m thankful to be able to do this, and hopefully bring some positive vibes.

Time for the annual “Best Of”! Starting last year, somewhat inspired by one , I opted to include books and movies here, alongside the top albums. I will always be someone who listens to albums as opposed to playlists, and this year was filled with good ones.
In no particular order, shoutout to , Panda Bear, , Mac DeMarco and ! If you’re ever looking for music, book or movie recommendations, I’m always loaded with them.

What a cool moment at the Fourth Avenue Street Fair. A total stranger walked in to the space I was playing and added the perfect ingredient to “Knockin on Heaven’s Door.” Thank you sir, wherever you are!
