Arizona Rangers - Tucson Company

This week at our Co. meeting we had the honor of having our SW Area Commander, Major Gaecke swear in some new command staff. Captain, Treasurer Hartsuiker, returning Executive Officer Butler and Internal Affairs Officer Poulos.

As well as swearing in, we had a recognition celebration for Dave Bruce on Getting his 35 year Arizona Ranger pin. Bruce, along with his Wife Joan, former Tucson Co. alumni and former Captain Joe Buglewicz, Lt. Colonel Spud Hester (former state adjutant) and former Tucson Co. Captain and 35 year Arizona Ranger Carol Sullivan and the rest of Tucson Co. current and former members had a great time celebrating this momentous achievement.

Sgt Thomas of Tucson Co. joined Phoenix, East Vally and Agua Fria Companies at the Kentucky Derby Day at Turf Paradise in Phoenix this weekend. There were lots of hats and dresses to admire. And the racing was amazing as well.

This weekend Tucson Company was helping out with the Erik Hite Foundation 15th Annual Fallen Officer Memorial 5K and Family Festival

The Erik Hite Foundation Community Festival of Service is a one-of-a-kind evening bringing our community together to honor service, sacrifice, and connection. An unforgettable celebration that featured a FREE Community Festival and a neon themed Fallen Heroes Memorial on a USATF Certified Course 5K & 2-Mile Walk.

in the evening there was a Luminaria Ceremony that is designed to unite our community in reflection, remembrance, and support for one another. There was a Decorating Station to personalize them with names, messages, artwork, and more creating a one-of-a-kind tribute filled with love and memory.

We are always proud and ready to help The Erik Hite Foundation when called upon.

Congratulations to Tucson Company Ranger A. Gibbs for completing Arizona Ranger Honor Guard Academy. We are very excited and proud to have him representing the Arizona Rangers and Tucson Company with the Honor Guard.

Tucson Company had a great time at Rattlesnake Ridge Elementary School recently during their Family Fun Night, they had games, jumping Castles and food trucks. It was such a great time! A big THANK YOU to the organizers of the event and letting us participate in it with them.

This is the true meaning of being an Arizona Ranger and the Organization in general. 🥰

Arizona Rangers - Pinal Company perform many duties while on assignment, and keeping patrons safe is always our number one priority. We also assist with directions, answer questions like, “Where are the restrooms?,” "Why can’t we go in that area?," and “When does the event start?”

Sometimes we even help by taking photos, so the whole family can be in the picture together. Serving the community means being there for the big things and the little things that make an event enjoyable for everyone.

The Gospel Rescue Mission’s 2026 Easter Blessings event was a truly remarkable gathering, uplifting those in need in the Tucson community. Well over a thousand community members joined us for a delicious Easter brunch, supported by hundreds of dedicated volunteers, including students from the University of Arizona, many from the football team! 🏈💛

Attendees enjoyed free services such as haircuts, clothing, diapers, pet food, books, and Easter baskets. Family-friendly activities like face painting, live music, and jumping castles brought joy to children and families alike. ✝️

The event also provided the gift of new beginnings through prayer, communion, and free Bibles, sharing hope and encouragement with everyone present. Tucson Company Rangers are always thankful to be a part of this event.

Tucson Veteran StandDown provides comprehensive services for veterans and their families, including housing assistance, mental health care, clothing, and legal aid. This event is part of the Arizona Veterans StandDown Alliance program aimed at supporting homeless or at-risk veterans and the Arizona Rangers are proud to have been invited to help.
