Mesquite Horse Rescue and Outreach Program became a thought after my brothers and I started attending horse camps in 2008. We met Sy Johonson, an O'ohdam elder, who opened our eyes to the use of horses and their ability to teach us power, strength, love, respect, manners, self worth and hard work. We began to think this is something we could share to our people and the children of the Pascua Yaqui

Merry Christmas! We got to participate in the Pascua Yaqui Christmas Light Parade and enjoyed hearing all the kids and adults shout CAT IN THE HAT! Lol
