World View
World View, an Ondas company, delivers multi-domain ISR rooted by stratospheric balloon expertise.
Where sustained awareness is critical, persistence matters.
World View’s stationkeeping capabilities enable extended presence over areas of interest, delivering continuous intelligence, adaptable positioning, and mission flexibility from the stratosphere.
By leveraging stratospheric wind layers at different altitudes, our systems can ascend or descend to access directional currents that help maintain position or navigate toward a target area. Combined with precision flight control and continuous atmospheric monitoring, this approach enables adaptable, long-duration operations without traditional propulsion systems.

Stratospheric vantage, tactical advantage.
The Phoenix system can be rapidly deployed for real-time tactical intelligence and surveillance with a team of as few as two operators. It can operate at altitudes up to 75,000 feet, offers a range of 720 miles, supports multiple payload configurations, and is built on reusable hardware.
Last week, we launched Fawkes 4 A&B, a side-by-side R&D flight, to test advanced material developments that will continue to strengthen the system.

Ondas has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire World View Enterprises, a leader in high-altitude balloon ISR and stratospheric remote sensing.
The acquisition will bring together Ondas and World View around a shared—and highly complementary—vision for a unified, multi-domain, AI-powered intelligence architecture.
“With access to Ondas’ broader platform, resources, and global go-to-market capabilities, we will be able to move faster on product development, expand our reach with defense and allied customers, and deliver integrated, multi-domain intelligence solutions more efficiently. By aligning our stratospheric platforms with Ondas’ systems-of-systems architecture and leveraging our partnership with Palantir, we are well positioned to scale deployment, deepen customer engagement, and capture the growing demand for persistent, layered ISR capabilities worldwide.” -Ryan Hartman, CEO of World View

The stratosphere is becoming an operational domain, and scaling it requires software built for real missions.
Today, World View is partnering with Ondas and Palantir to develop and deploy AI-enabled operational capabilities designed to scale persistent stratospheric, aerial, and land-based ISR missions.
This partnership brings:
• Integrated intelligence with unified command and control for persistent ISR missions.
• Palantir AIP applied to the production, mission planning, and edge operations that underpin these systems.
• A multi-domain intelligence architecture that pairs World View’s Stratollite stratospheric sensing with Ondas’ autonomous aerial, ground, and counter-drone systems.

Station keeping in high-altitude ballooning is when we utilize winds in the stratosphere to “steer” and hold position over a region. By adjusting altitude to find layers of wind moving in different directions, our systems can stay where the mission needs them to provide persistent coverage and data collection without fuel or propulsion.
How do we transit between wind layers to maintain station over a target region to enable long-duration missions with persistent observational coverage? Releasing ballast decreases overall mass, increasing net buoyancy and causes ascent. Conversely, venting lifting gas reduces buoyancy, inducing descent.

At World View, caring goes beyond the stratosphere. CARE is one of our core cultural pillars, because caring for our teammates, our families, and our communities is what grounds us in our mission to create a radically improved future for us all.
The World View Cares Committee brings our team together to serve our local community through volunteer projects, donations, and acts of kindness, because making an impact starts right here on the ground.
Each year, we select one organization to center our fundraising and volunteer efforts around. With input from World View Cares members, we chose Emerge Center Against Domestic Abuse for 2025 in support of their work helping families affected by domestic violence.
