For the first time, the Humanities Seminars Program is sharing a Faculty Conversation—a behind-the-scenes look at an upcoming course.

In this interview, Program Director Micah Lunsford talks with Professor Laura Hollengreen about her Fall 2025 seminar, Lightscapes and Liminality in Premodern Architecture. They discuss how light has shaped ritual and meaning in buildings across history, from Stonehenge to Hagia Sophia.
