This weekend, a group of 7 district employees represented AmphiEA at the AEA Delegate Assembly.

Some highlights:
🍎Connecting with other region 12 & 13 members (shoutout to Marana EA, Flowing Wells EA & Sunnyside!)
🍎Being motivated by the theme of “unbreakable solidarity” from our amazing AEA President, Marisol Garcia
🍎Learning about our state budget from our awesome pro-public education governor, Katie Hobbs
🍎Hearing about the need for “consistent and sustained funding” for elections and public schools from Secretary of State, Adrian Fontes
🍎Unveiling our new AEA logo!
🍎Voting on official business, like our platform, constitutional amendments & region/ESP leaders

We were happy to represent all local members. Special thanks to our delegates:
Nina Godlewski, CDO
Michele Theisz, AHS
Robert Wacker, Facilities
AJ Benavidez, Rillito
Colin Cordell, Innovation
Sarah Bibbey, La Cima
Liz Yeager, CDO
