This has been a hellacious past few weeks. The Supreme Court throwing out the restriction of the travel ban, ANOTHER even deadlier mass shooting, an unbelievably crass response from the current administration in Puerto Rico, and abortion rights once again being on the chopping block in Congress (just to name a *few* of the events that sadden and anger us) ... today we needed cheering up, and a reminder that we don't have to be the passive recipients of these abuses of freedom and basic human dignity.

We will continue to stand up. We will continue to join with the millions of other Americans like us who demand something better of our leaders. We will continue to resist.

May this quote from the incredible Audre Lorde help inspire your fight, as it does ours:
