The Monsoon Monkey Foundation is looking for the next generation of artists!
This year’s Kid Art Contest theme is ARTISTS. Create an original piece inspired by your favorite artist, snap a photo, and send it to us by July 15th.
🏆 The Top 10 artists will be invited to showcase and sell their artwork at the Monsoon Monkey Foundation on August 1, 2026, from 11 AM to 3 PM.
🎉 Visitors will vote for their favorites, and the Top 3 artists will win special prizes!
Whether your masterpiece is colorful, creative, funny, bold, or completely unique, we can’t wait to see it!

It is with a warm heart and gratitude that we are able to announce that our abandoned dog on Mt Lemmon was rescued last night!! She is safe and reviving the care and love she needs and deserves. Thank you to PACC and all of the volunteers that assisted in this effort.

Day 3&4….Update on our abandoned dog…we are still at it folks…I’m not giving up! I’m working with the owner up there, which is helping considerably…he noted that she showed up by the buildings at 9am yesterday morning…he is leaving food and water, which will help keep her in the area. All of our physical searches have turned up no sightings, but she most likely at this point will not trust humans very much. More updates to come. Please keep sharing these posts and if you are hiking/visiting the Ski Valley area be on the lookout for her and if you see her call me straight away…Elizabeth 310.490.7595.
