For 38 years, the body of a young man found murdered near Ryan Airfield, Tucson, Arizona, has lain unnamed. Almost 4 decades on, investigators finally know the truth.

On April 5th 1988, the partial skeletal remains of a young man aged 17 to 18 years old were found in a remote desert wash in Tucson. His remains had been placed inside a trash bag and buried.

He was around 5’11” with brown hair and had a unique feature. An extra left cervical rib, which the medical examiner stated would have caused him physical issues akin to a pinched nerve.

Despite the young age of their victim, the investigation was slow. Media interest was non-existent, and soon, all of their leads dried up.

It wasn’t until recently that the case began to move, all thanks to the DNA Doe Project. They were able to extract a DNA profile of the boy, now dubbed the Three Points John Doe.

Genealogists quickly made a stunning discovery: their John Doe was of Mexican descent. So, they began trawling American and Mexican records and discovered he may have moved from Sonora, Mexico, to Arizona. Within a matter of months, a possibly family were found and contacted.

But the relative they contacted did not know of anyone in their family missing. Weeks later, the relative contacted genealogists again, and this new information would lead to a break in the case.

The relative explained they had been made aware that their cousin had disappeared sometime in the 1980s.

This cousin's name was Rogelio Morales Caudillo. After digging a bit deeper, investigators learned that Rogelio was just 17 years old when he vanished from Tucson in 1986. They were then able to contact other family members for a DNA profile.

On April 15th 2026, almost 38 years to the day of his discovery, the remains of the Three Points John Doe were confirmed as 17-year-old Rogelio Morales Caudillo. Investigators are now focused on finding who murdered Rogelio and bringing them to justice.

A woman who has been missing since she was 13 years old has just been found alive and well in Arizona.

She wasn’t kidnapped,or taken against her will. She chose to run away. This is the story of Christina Marie Plante.

In May 1994, 13 year old Christina Plant headed up to her stable in Star Valley, Arizona. She told her aunt and uncle she wouldn’t be long, but she never came back.

A massive search was launched for the missing teen, but very few clues were found.

Investigators uncovered that Christina had spoken about running away before, but her friend’s didn’t think she was serious.

At the time of her disappearance, she was living with her aunt and uncle, and was very unhappy with the situation. Investigators classified her disappearance as an abduction, but the case quickly grew cold.

For 32 years the community believed the case would never be solved, but the Gila County Sheriff’s Office was determined.

Finally, in April 2026, they made a shocking breakthrough. Details are scarce, but we do know they ‘utilised new technologies’ to find Christina as an adult.

When officers tracked her down, she confessed and made another shocking revelation. She had run away.

Some articles have said Christina, who now lives under a new name, met with her mother the day she disappeared.

It is believed the pair took a flight out of Arizona and Christina has been living elsewhere ever since.

Christina has asked that her new identity be kept secret and details of her new life have been omitted from reports.

She told investigators that her disappearance was ‘her old life’ and she wants to get on with her life, and her family in peace.

SHE MADE A PHONE CALL AND THEN VANISHED

In 2006, Rebecca Tume received a call from her sister, 18-year-old Louise Tume. Louise told Rebecca she was fine before the line went dead. After that call, her foster parents revealed a secret they had been keeping from her. Louise had been missing for a year.

Louise Tume was born in 1987 in Leeds, England. Her childhood was marred by difficulty. Her father was involved in the criminal underworld and was not kind to Louise’s mother. By the late 1980s, Louise, her sister Rebecca and her brother were living in Edge Hill in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

Despite the move, the family dynamic remained the same. The patriarch of the family was still involved in drugs and weapons, and the abuse continued. Eventually, Louise’s mother moved out of the home after suffering a miscarriage due to the physical abuse she endured.

When their mother moved out, Louise’s behaviour changed. She ran away from home often and found solace at her mother's new place. Everyone in the area knew Louise as a runaway, and many felt there was little they could do to quell her feelings.

When Louise was around 10-11 years old, she was taken into care due to her frequently running away. Louise didn’t fare much better in foster care, though, and would run away from whichever home or couple she was placed with. She would often run away to see her siblings and mother.

Shortly after Louise was placed into care, so were Rebecca and her brother, effectively splitting up the siblings. This move did little to deter Louise, though, who took her role as the big sister seriously. Louise was told she could only meet her siblings under foster carer supervision, but these meetings were always cancelled at the last minute.

In 2003, Louise was planning her next moves, as in two years, when she turned 18, she would be removed from the care system. The UK has a long way to go in helping care leavers, even in 2026. According to Rebecca, Louise wanted to join the army and make something of her life.

In 2005, when Louise turned 18, she got her own flat in Darlington and was beginning to put plans in motion for the future. According to police reports, the final sighting of Louise was made in mid June 2005 in Islington, London. We have no idea how she ended up in London, or why she was there.

Meanwhile, Louise’s sister had no idea she was missing. In 2006, Rebecca received a call from Louise using a phone box. In the call, she said, “Becky, it’s me, I’m okay.” before the line went dead. This would be the last time Rebecca would ever hear from her sister again.

Following the call in 2006, Rebecca’s foster parents explained to her they had been keeping a secret. Louise had been missing for a year. The carers had decided to keep the secret as Rebecca was sitting her GCSEs, and now, she was left to reckon with this news.

According to Rebecca, the police haven’t been helpful in her sister's case. “They just tell me there is no trace of her. They have interviewed a number of people from London - they don’t tell me who they are.” Nobody can seem to figure out why Louise was last spotted in London, over 246 miles from her flat in Darlington.

After Louise disappeared, Rebecca was given Louise’s belongings, including a suitcase. Inside the suitcase was a letter from a man, Lee James, and the letter had been sent from HMP Wormwood Scrubs, London. The letter read “I hope you are doing well and that you are staying away from London… I do not want you having anything to do with your old way of life.”

Not only was there a letter, but a phone book too. In this phone book, there was a number for a local restaurant near Louise’s flat in Darlington. When Rebecca spoke with Social Services about this restaurant and its owners, they raised suspicion. A social worker straight up told Rebecca they believed the owners were trafficking girls and women.

Despite these concerns, little has been done in the way of Louise’s disappearance or a public investigation into the owners. Rebecca has been the one to dig up tips, and not too long ago, she found another. A social worker admitted that she had met Louise in London sometime in 2006.

We do not know what the meeting was about or the exact date. The police have stated they could find no record of this meeting, leaving Rebecca to wonder whether it ever happened at all. The police believe that Louise was hanging around the wrong crowd in London, but nobody seems to know for sure why she was there.

Louise Tume, who may go by Anya Ford, is described as a white female, 5’6” with a slim build, with brown eyes and reddish brown hair. She was last seen wearing blue embroidered jeans, a blue denim jacket and pink sandals.

Anyone with information, no matter how small, is urged to contact the Police at 101, Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111 or the Missing People charity at 116 000, quoting case ref 06-000681.

IDENTIFIED | LITTLE MISS LAKE PANASOFFKEE

For 54 years, the body of a woman found in Lake Panasoffkee, FL, lay unidentified. Her body showed obvious signs of trauma, but no signs of who she was. We now know who she is, but we don’t know who killed her.

On February 19th, 1971, two teenagers discovered the body of a young woman submerged in Lake Panasoffkee under an overpass. She was white, 17 - 21 years old, and wearing a green shirt, green plaid pants and a green poncho.

Her body showed obvious signs of violence and the belt used to strangle her was still around her neck. Further examinations showed a fractured rib and evidence of childbirth, at least two to be exact. She had also undergone extensive dental work and an orthopaedic procedure on her right ankle.

Investigators were clueless, and as the months passed, this woman became known as Little Miss Lake Panasoffkee Jane Doe. Her passing was violent, and investigators had no idea who her or her attacker were. Her case was highlighted in local media, but there were no solid leads.

Things went quiet until 2012 when isotope testing was conducted, which showed she was likely from Greece. Scientists were able to narrow it down further to the town of Laviro based on the lead content in her teeth. The Greek media were informed, and her case exploded in Greece.

In late 2012, another promising lead sprang up. During a live TV broadcast covering this case, a woman called, claiming she knew Jane Doe’s identity as Konstanina. Konstanina had attended a ‘prep’ style school in the 1970s where she learnt English, and how to take care of children and a home.

Once schooling was over, Konstanina was sent to the US to work and was never heard from again. The caller provided photographs that bore a striking resemblance to Jane Doe, but investigators struggled to follow this lead.

In 2018, genetic genealogy was attempted on Jane Doe; however, her DNA was far too degraded to produce a viable sample. It wasn’t until October 2025 that Florida investigators would finally get the breakthrough they had been waiting 54 years for.

In 2025, investigators ran Jane Doe’s fingerprints again after a major system update, and there was a match. The fingerprints belonged to Maureen Lou Rowan, nee Minor. Maureen was not from Greece, as her teeth had suggested, but Florida.

In the 1970s, Maureen was living with her two children in Tampa, Florida. She had recently separated from her husband, Charles Rowan Sr, following a ‘tumultuous’ relationship. According to Charles, Maureen simply up and left one day, and he never thought to report her missing.

Maureen would have been just 21 when she died. The air of suspicion has naturally fallen on Charles, who passed away in 2015. Police in Florida are continuing their investigation into her death. Now, Maureen can finally rest after 54 long years of being a Jane Doe.

WHERE IS 13 YEAR OLD MARYANNE❓❓

13-year-old Maryanne Wesolowski spent August 8th 1971 swimming on the Hudson River with her younger brother and a female friend. The trio visited Haviland Cove Beach, where they reportedly witnessed their mother’s boyfriend with another woman.

Upon returning home, Maryanne reported what she'd seen to her mother, who sent her back to the beach to summon the boyfriend home.

Maryanne left 44 Hudson Ave, Glen Falls, NY, sometime after 3:00 PM. Her brother Paul commented, “As she got to the corner of Hudson Ave and Spring Street, she told me she would be right back, and walked around the corner, never to be seen again.”

Sometime before leaving, Maryanne left a note that read, “I’m leaving; I might miss you.”

Following her disappearance, her family found another letter to her sister in which Maryanne discussed how much she hated Glen Falls and couldn’t wait for summer to come.

The Wesolowski family moved to Glen Falls in 1970. Maryanne’s brother stated, “There were a lot of problems at home” but despite this, Maryanne seemed happy.

After Maryanne’s disappearance, her brother Paul revealed that his mother sold all of their belongings and she, her boyfriend and another woman drove to Miami, Florida in a 1967/68 Cadillac.

The only named suspect in Maryanne’s disappearance is Kenneth Yarter Jr who has a string of convictions. In 1974, prosecutors charged Yarter with the abduction and murder of 16-year-old Susan Camel Zanta in Argyle, NY, but later dismissed the charges.

Yarter was convicted in at least 3 r**e cases and in 1996 he confessed to killing Susan Zanta. For this, he is serving a life sentence.

Yarter has never confessed to Maryanne’s abduction, and the only thing linking the two together is the fact that Yarter lived in Glen Falls in 1971.

He also worked at the sandwich shop Maryanne may have been headed for on August 8th. Mary Anne's social security number remains unused, and her name is not mentioned anywhere.

Her brother believes Maryanne left of her own accord and is still alive out there somewhere. Her family hopes that they will finally reunite. You can help Maryanne’s family by spreading the word about her case. Justice has no deadline.

Maryanne Wesolowski is described as a white female with light brown hair, blue eyes, 4’6” to 4’11”, and 85 to 90 lbs. She has crooked teeth, a scar on her abdomen, and a butterfly-shaped scar on her upper chest.

She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, red and white shorts, and a black leather belt. If you have any information, you are urged to contact the Glen Falls Police Department at 518-761-3840, quoting case number 5799-71.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐂𝐌𝐏 𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧❓

Lisa Marie Young was described as a strong and formidable young woman. Lisa was a staunch vegetarian and loved to go to the gym. She was extremely close with her family and would often visit her mother, Joanne, for a cup of coffee and a chat. Both Lisa and her mother were proud of their Tla-O-Qui-Aht First Nations heritage and took part in cultural events.

By 2002, Lisa was getting ready to move into a new apartment and was considering enrolling in university. Unfortunately, Lisa would never get a chance to obtain her degree, and her life would take a very dark turn.

On June 29th 2002, Lisa left her home and headed into downtown Nanaimo, British Columbia, to attend a birthday party at the Jungle Cabaret nightclub. The night went smoothly, and around 2:30 AM, the club closed. As Lisa and her friends stood outside, plotting their next move, they were approached by a stranger.

The stranger introduced himself as Christopher and told the girls that he was headed to a house party. He invited them to join, and as the night was still young, Lisa and her friends went with him. Christopher took the girls to two parties in Nanamio.

By 4:00 AM, Lisa had grown hungry after a long night of partying. Due to Lisa being a vegetarian, there was no food at the parties for her to eat, so Christopher offered to drive Lisa to a nearby restaurant. At 4:30 AM, Christopher and Lisa drove away from the party. Marking the last time she was seen alive.

Shortly after getting into Christopher’s car, Lisa called her friend and said, “Dallas, I dont know whats going on. This guy won’t bring me back. We’re sitting in a driveway on Bowen Road and he won’t bring me back. I’m bored; I’m getting pi**ed off.”

When Lisa didn’t return home the next morning, her parents became very worried. None of her friends knew where she was, and they all assumed she had just headed home after being with Christopher. Later that evening, Lisa’s parents attempted to report her missing to the RCMP.

The RCMP told Lisa’s parents they had to wait at least 48 hours before reporting her missing. Hours after this first report, an RCMP officer arrived at the Young home to tell them that he was going away for 4 days and they’d have to wait until he was back.

Joanne and Don, Lisa’s parents, were infuriated with how little regard the RCMP had for their daughter. Determined to find their daughter, they went to the media. A few days after their appeal, they received a call from the RCMP. Lisa’s case had now been taken on by the Serious Crimes Unit.

The RCMP stalled in Lisa’s case. They didn’t commence search efforts until September 2002, two months after Lisa had vanished. It wasn’t until the tail end of the year that Christopher, the last person to see Lisa alive, was interviewed. Joanne Young pressed Christopher for details, to which he replied, “I can’t, I’m sorry. I don’t mean to disrespect your family.”

Christopher Aldair has a long rap sheet; he has been arrested for assault, fraud, assaulting a police officer and unauthorised use of a credit card. He has maintained the same story: he dropped Lisa off somewhere after getting food, as she wanted to get a taxi home. He denies being involved in Lisa’s disappearance and maintains his innocence.

In June 2017, Joanne Young passed away aged 54. Her family believes that the stress of losing Lisa only worsened her medical conditions. According to sources, Joanne tried to keep Lisa’s Indigenous heritage a secret while reporting her daughter’s disappearance. She feared the media would paint her daughter as an alcoholic or a s*x worker, drawing on offensive stereotypes of Indigenous and First Nations people.

Christopher Aldair is now believed to be living in Asia. The Tla-O-Qui-Aht First Nation has been the driving force behind the search for Lisa, and they have been far more proactive than the RCMP. Lisa’s family has held candlelit vigils, bought billboards and worked with TV shows and podcasts to get her story out there.

Lisa’s family wants her to be remembered as a fighter, a strong woman who wasn’t afraid to stand up for what was right. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Nanamio RCMP Office at 250-754-2345.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟗𝟓𝟎𝐌 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐦❓

19-year-old Suzanne ‘Suzy’ Lyall was like any other student at SUNY Albany. She had exams, reports and deadlines to contend with, all whilst trying to juggle a social life and a job. One cold evening, Suzy got off the bus and was headed to her dorm, but she never arrived. Why did Suzy disappear, and who used her bank card?

Suzy Lyall was born in Saratoga Springs, NY, to Doug and Mary Lyall. Growing up, Suzy was obsessed with computers, and when the family got their first PC, she couldn’t wait to take it apart to see how it worked. Naturally, after high school, Suzy opted to study computer science at SUNY Albany.

This placement was perfect; Suzy’s boyfriend, Richard Condon, lived nearby, and he was also interested in computers. The pair had met at school, with Richard being a few years her senior. To help cover her rent, Suzy got a job at a computer store in the Crossgates Mall in Albany.

On March 1st 1998, Suzy called her mother, Mary, like she did most nights. During the call, Suzy wished her mother a happy birthday, and the pair chatted about Suzy’s upcoming midterm exam. Mary said that Suzy was laser-focused on studying, but seemed stressed and tired.

The following day, Suzy went to her job at the mall. Her boss stated that Suzy was stressed about the exam she had taken that morning, but she seemed otherwise happy and cheerful. Sometime after 9 PM, Suzy closed down the shop and headed to the bus stop.

There are conflicting reports; however, we know that Suzy disembarked sometime around 9:30 PM. The bus dropped her right outside of her dorm, and it would have taken her a matter of minutes to walk there. After this, Suzy completely dropped off the map.

It wasn’t until the next morning that people realised the student was missing. According to Mary, she received a call from Richard, who said, “Did you know that Suzy didn’t come back to her room last night?” The Lyalls panicked and reported their daughter missing to the campus police.

The campus police did not take the report seriously, assuring her parents that she had probably stayed out at a party. But the Lyalls knew their daughter. She didn’t smoke or drink and was more interested in her part-time job and her exams.

A search of Suzy’s dorm room showed no clues; her clothes were piled neatly, her hairdryer had been left on the bed, and her glasses were on the bedside. It didn’t appear that Suzy had made it back to her dorm, so what happened in that 950-metre walk?

Bank records showed that at 4 PM on March 2nd, someone had withdrawn $20 from Suzy’s account at an ATM 2 miles from campus. CCTV showed someone wearing a baseball cap using the ATM at the time the transaction was made. Whoever used the card put in the pin correctly on the first try.

It has not been definitively proved who used Suzy’s card, and it remains a bizarre detail. Suzy’s parents turned their suspicions toward Richard Condon. Mary Lyall told CBS that Suzy had tried to break up with Richard several times, but he was able to reel her back in every time.

Mary Lyall also mentioned to the police that 2 weeks before Suzy disappeared, she asked her mother to stop off at Richard’s house to give him a letter. In Mary’s mind, this was a break-up letter, although Suzy never mentioned anything to her. Her parents believe that their relationship was unhealthy, and Suzy wanted out.

Another bizarre clue comes from Suzy’s boss at the mall. He told police that Suzy had spoken of possibly being stalked. Although she never expanded on this comment, and did not appear afraid of anyone.

Richard Condon, Suzy’s boyfriend, gave police a tight alibi, but Suzy’s parents think he is involved. Richard never went to Suzy’s dorm after she disappeared, nor did he join in search efforts. He refused to cooperate with the police and refused a polygraph test. Police have found no evidence of Richard’s involvement, and he remains innocent in the eyes of the law.

Suzy’s parents joined the ‘Cold Case Cards’ that are given out to prisoners. These playing cards contain photos and information about cold case missing person cases or murders. Unfortunately, Doug Lyall passed away in 2015, never knowing what happened to his daughters.

Mary & Doug Lyall became staunch activists following Suzy’s disappearance and are pushing for ‘Suzanne’s Law’. A law that requires police to accept missing persons reports for those aged 18 to 21. It is still being pushed and debated in Congress, but this bill would bridge the gap from children to young adults.

Despite mass media and police attention, no sign of Suzanne Lyall has ever been found. 13 years before Suzanne disappeared, another SUNY Albany student, Karen Wilson, vanished from campus. Unfortunately, there has been no progress in Karen’s case either.

Suzanne Gloria Lyall is described as a white female with brown hair, blue eyes, 5’3” and 175 lbs. She has a light birthmark on her left calf, a surgical scar on her left foot, moles on her cheeks and pierced ears. Anyone with information is urged to contact the New York State Police at 518-630-1708, quoting case no 98-164/SJS 301 3335.

7 year old Jennifer Patterson of Spring Lake, North Carolina, found herself in the middle of a hospitable custody dispute in the summer of 1991. Jennifer was described as a sweet and intelligent young girl, who was trying to come to terms with her parents divorce. One summer afternoon, Jennifer would disappear. Her father gave bizarre statements to police and his guilt has been debated ever since.

Jennifer, her mother and father, Alan Patterson lived in the Holly Hills Mobile Home Park in Spring Lake, N.C. By the summer of 1991, Jennifer’s parents had divorced, but were still living together. The divorce was not amicable and in June 1991, Alan was involved in a custody dispute.

When the Patterson’s split, they could not come to agreeable terms over custody. As such, Alan filed for further rights and was due to take a paternity test. That all changed on June 23rd 1991 when Jennifer’s mother received the call all parents dread. Jennifer was missing.

According to police, Jennifer is believed to have left her mobile home on foot to walk to her neighbours house around 1:15 PM. When night began to fall, and Jennifer was still not home, Alan reported her missing. Police swarmed the mobile home park, hoping to find Jennifer at her friend’s house. But there was no sign of her.

Search efforts intensified, with police hoping that Jennifer was hiding somewhere, or had gotten lost. Despite a large search effort, no sign of her could be found. When interviewed by police, Alan said that she ‘Jennifer’ was safe and being looked after. He added that she had disappeared because of the custody dispute.

Fearing a parental abduction, police looked into Alan further. Alan failed a polygraph test, but did not give any information to Jennifer’s whereabouts. When pressed by police about his prior statements, Alan assured them he was speaking ‘hypothetically’.

There is no evidence to suggest that Jennifer did leave her home that day. Spring Lake Police are investigating new forensic techniques that may help get to the bottom of this case. After her disappearance, her parents finally split and moved to other states.

Alan continues to profess his innocence and claims he was at work when Jennifer disappeared. For police, Alan is their prime suspect, but without any solid evidence, their hands are tied. The trailer park where Jennifer lived has been long abandoned, but police believe it may hold the clue to her disappearance.

Jennicer Nicole Patterson is described as a white female with brown hair, brown eyes, 4’5” and 59 lbs. She has a freckle on the tip of her nose and scars on her right temple. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Spring Lake Police Department at 910-436-0350.

On September 22nd, 1969 shoppers at the King’s Department Store in Maryland witnessed a man trying to talk to 21-year-old Linda Mae Peugeot and her daughter, 3-year-old Lori. People brushed it off, assuming the man was her husband or boyfriend. Little did they know, they had just witnessed an abduction.

That day, Linda and Lori visited the department store to do some shopping. Lori’s husband was away serving in the U.S. Navy, so Linda decided to stay with relatives in Bel Air, Maryland. As the day drew to a close, Linda’s family began to grow concerned that the two had never returned home.

Soon, the Maryland State Police had launched a state wide search for the young mother and her daughter. The agonising search would screech to a halt in early October 1969 when a disturbing confession came to light. Stanley Barton Hoss told the FBI about that fateful September day in chilling detail.

According to Hoss, he came across Linda at the department store and accosted her at her car. He forced his way in, threatening Linda with a fire arm. He ordered Linda to drive him to Canada and thus, her ordeal began.

He first took Linda and Lori to Franklin, PA, where they stayed in a motel. The staff did not raise the alarm, as they were not aware that Linda had been reported missing. Later, other reports of Linda and Lori would surface from different states, but these sightings contradict Hoss’ own story.

Sometime between September 22nd and 24th, Linda refused to drive Hoss any further. Stating she was worried about Lori’s welfare. In a fit of rage, Hoss claimed to have shot Linda and put her in the boot of her own car.

Linda’s body was reportedly left at a dump just outside of Akron, Ohio, but subsequent searches for her body turned up empty. After dumping Linda’s body, Hoss claimed to drive himself and Lori through several states before arriving in Kansas.

In Kansas, Hoss alleged he smothered Lori with a blanket before callously leaving her body in a creek. Hoss continued to drive around in Linda’s 1969 Pontiac GTO before his arrest in Iowa. His arrest is what triggered his shocking confession and searches for Linda’s and Lori’s bodies.

Despite their best efforts, investigators have never been able to find Lori or Linda. Hoss was well known to the police, having killed a police officer and awaiting sentencing for s*xually violent crimes against a 17-year-old girl. Hoss had also kidnapped 2 others, but they were freed without incident.

Unfortunately, justice was not served for Linda and Lori, as it was determined his constitutional rights had been violated, given he had not been granted a ‘speedy trial’. He would be sentenced to life in prison for killing the officer, but that is as far as the law was able to get him.

His violent behaviour continued behind bars, torturing and eventually murdering a prison officer. His tirade would only end in 1978 when he took his own life in his cell. He took his dark secrets to the grave, ensuring that Lori and Linda’s families would never get full closure.

There have been concerted efforts over the years to find their bodies, but so far, police have come up empty-handed. Whilst this case occurred 56 years ago, it is never too late for justice. It may well be that Linda and Lori are among the long list of Jane Does, waiting to be identified.

Linda Peugeot is described as a white female with blonde hair, blue eyes, 5’0” and 96 lbs. Lori Peugeot is described as a white female, blonde hair, blue eyes, 2’6” and 21 lbs. If you have any information, you are asked to contact the Maryland State Police at 301-729-2101.
