🚁 Blue Devil News Students Take Flight!
Blue Devil News is reaching new heights—literally! 🎥✨
Two of our talented Film/TV students, Maria Montoya Cano and Eddie Hermosillo, are currently training to operate our drone. Maria, an Advanced Applications student, and Eddie, a Film/TV 2 student who also serves as a Teacher’s Assistant, are both eager to sharpen their technical skills and explore new creative possibilities from the sky.
Their excitement and dedication are a perfect example of how Blue Devil News continues to grow and innovate. We can’t wait to see the amazing aerial shots they’ll capture for future stories! 💙

Senior Spotlight for Joa'o Lara! ⚽🎉..
Joa'o just joined the Sunnyside team this year after he transferred from Texas. From his first day at practice during summer conditioning, Joa'o stood out because of his 100% dedication and energy. Regardless of his not being familiar with the team, he never backed away. He exerts passion at every practice and at every game. Congratulations Joa'o!

4 year Blue Devil News intern, Valeria Cazares is ready.
Blue Devil News was contacted by McDonald’s Tucson to conduct an interview tomorrow at one of their restaurants. Valeria is going to be a one-woman show with all this equipment.
We’re so proud of Valeria.
SHS FOOTBALL STAT OF THE WEEK:
Senior Mike Vasquez has made 3 FG's in the last 2 games. Against Marana, Mikey hit a 49 yard FG.
That's 3 yards short of the longest FG in SHS history.
Current Los Ninos Principal, TJ Rodriquez hit a 52 yard FG in 1993 at Salpointe.
Junior Sergio Vega and Senior Alyssa Acosta-Hernandez highlighted a great lesson in Ms. Johanna Jimenez' CTE Sports Medicine Class. The students were participating in a dissection...of Gummy Bears!
