Through FTI training, our participants have trained different communities on how they can make manure from Agricultural wastes. As you can see, farmers are proud of the results of their crop after use of manure. FTI is proud of the results. Keep it up.

The wonders of agricultural wastes. This beautiful maize crop has only been applied by manure/fertilizer which are remains after extracting biogas. Just imagine if we all adapt to this. definitely low cost of production and more profits.

FTI is delighted to share with you what Umodzi Green Collection has made from Agriculture waste. After extracting Biogas the remains are fertilizer for different plants. Congratulations UGC. FTI is proud of you. See how the fertilizer/manure is doing in our next post.

Umodzi Green Collection through Wezi Mjathu was trained by FTI. they are in turning to Agriculture waste into worth. They embarked in biogas for cooking. The remains are used as pesticide and manure. check on our next post the wonders of what the manure are making.

FTI did not just stop on briquettes making knowledge sharing, people get attracted to what they see. FTI also trained the community on packaging of their products. The product made is then nicely packaged then sold to its customers as shown in the picture.

Just gaining the knowledge is not enough, Umodzi Green Collection and its community in Zomba - Chikanda, are producing the briquettes - energy for cooking for their home use and selling. This is transforming their lives.

Despite Covid, FTI continued its trainings, Wezi Mjathu from Umodzi Green Collection our Alumni works with a community in Zomba. FTI trained them on briquette making for cooking. The are able to product, package and sell. See our next post to appreciate.

FTI shared knowledge on how to make briquettes energy for cooking which is a challenge for many including men, the participants grasped, took notes and practiced the new knowledge. in the picture showcasing their new products ready to use.

As FTI was imparting the briquette making knowledge to the Mtaja community, a proof that they were listening was taking notes. at the end they applied what they wrote, heard into real product. see next post.

FTI reached out CADECOM through Mtaja community who did not know that the leaves from trees that were being burned would be turned into energy for cooking. There was misbelieve even in men but FTI imparted the knowledge to them. Full of smiles.

Biogas being made from Agricultural wastes. A new knowledge in 2022 for Utawaleza Farm in Mangochi. They are extracting biogas for cooking, liquid fertilizer and pesticides for their horticulture farming. Its been all from FTI.
