As we kick off the 2026 season, we would like to publicly recognize our official sponsor for the season, Tucson Federal Credit Union!

Before the season began Tucson Federal Credit Union reached out with one goal in mind—to invest in our athletes and support the Southwest Rams.

When they learned that one of our goals for this season was to purchase a giant inflatable helmet for our athletes to run through on game day, they didn’t hesitate. They generously covered the entire cost of the inflatable helmet. Due to logistics it was delayed until next week, but we will have it for our next home game. In addition to covering our helmet, they also generously offered to pay all of our Parks and Recreation field rental fees for the season.

There simply aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for their generosity and belief in our program. When members of the Tucson community invest in our youth, incredible things happen. Their support is about so much more than football and cheer—it’s about creating unforgettable experiences, building confidence, and showing our athletes that their community believes in them.

We truly hope this is just the beginning of a long-lasting partnership with Tucson Federal Credit Union, one that continues to make a positive impact on the lives of our athletes for many years to come.

🏈 2026 Game Day Expectations

As we kick off the 2026 season, we’d like to remind everyone of our game day expectations to help ensure a safe, fun, and enjoyable experience for all.

🅿️ Parking Information

The Sunnyside Unified School District has advised us that we MUST properly manage parking during our home games at Desert View High School. Failure to do so could jeopardize our ability to use these facilities in the future.

To help with parking:

✅ The gate along Jaguar Lane will be open to provide additional parking access along the roadway and adjacent desert area. Please use this entrance whenever possible.

🚔 Tucson Police Department officers will be monitoring the parking lot throughout the day. Vehicles parked illegally, blocking fire lanes, curbs, or other restricted areas may be ticketed.

🚫 Please park only in designated parking areas and follow all posted signs and directions.

Your cooperation helps protect our partnership with Desert View High School and Sunnyside Unified School District.

📣 Game Day Rules

To help keep everyone safe and ensure we can continue using these facilities, please remember:

✅ Ice chests are permitted.

❌ No sunflower seeds.
❌ No Gatorade, food, or snacks on the field.
❌ No alcohol.
❌ No smoking or va**ng.
❌ No parents or siblings on the field.

Anyone found violating these rules may be asked to leave the facility immediately.

🧹 Help Keep Our Home Field Clean

If you’re staying for multiple games, please bring a trash bag and clean up after yourself and your family.

Let’s leave our home field better than we found it.

🤝 Sportsmanship, Conduct & Social Media

Every parent and participant has signed the Southwest Rams and AYF/AYC Code of Conduct, as well as our Social Media Policy.

We ask every Rams family to demonstrate:

* Respect
* Good sportsmanship
* Positive conduct
* Responsible social media behavior

Game day is about our athletes. It should never be overshadowed by the actions of adults. Our players and cheerleaders look to us as role models. Together, we can create an environment where every athlete feels safe, supported, encouraged, and proud to wear the Rams name.
