Southwest Rams

We’re a non-profit youth football & cheer organization based out of Tucson Arizona
Lastly, we want to honor our Rams Royalty! 👑💙🐏
We gave a lot of thought to how these athletes would be selected. Our motto is “Family, School, Football,” and putting the student before the athlete has always been a priority for the Southwest Rams.
To be considered, athletes were asked to submit a report card. We then selected athletes who lead both on the field and in the classroom.
Our Rams Royalty represent the values we hope every athlete carries with them. Please join us in celebrating them! 👏💙
A small handoff with a big meaning. 💙🐏
At last nights game, some of our 14u Rams cheerleaders passed their poms to two flag cheerleaders who will move up to 8u next season. There were only two girls making that step this year, but you should have seen how excited they were. They can’t wait to cheer on the big field!
Those poms carry years of memories, friendships and Rams pride. Watching our older girls place them in the hands of the next generation was a reminder that the legacy they helped build will keep going.
To our two future big-field cheerleaders: we can’t wait to see you out there next season! 📣💙

We hope everyone enjoyed our trip down memory lane celebrating the history of the Southwest Rams! 💙🐏
This weekend, we’re bringing that spirit to our Homecoming games at Desert View High School while raising awareness for childhood cancer. Every athlete who takes the field, Rams and Raiders alike, will receive a childhood cancer awareness wristband to wear during their game. 🎗️
Board members will be selling 50/50 raffle tickets for $2 each throughout the day to benefit the Ocampo family of the Tucson Raiders. The first 500 people to purchase a ticket will also receive a free rally towel! The winner will be announced during the 13U game.
We’re also starting a few new Homecoming traditions! Before the 13u game, we’ll celebrate our 8th grade Rams in football and cheer. After the games, we’ll hold a helmet handoff for our flag football players moving up and a pom handoff for our flag cheer athletes. 🏈📣
We hope these moments become memories our athletes carry with them and traditions our Rams family continues for years to come. See you at Desert View! 💙
Now, we want to honor our fighters. 💛
These children have faced childhood cancer with courage no child should ever have to find. Some are still in treatment. Some are in remission. And some are no longer with us.
A child’s biggest worry should be which flavor popsicle to choose or which team to cheer for on game day. They deserve to simply enjoy being kids.
As you look at these photos, please take a moment to recognize each child and the battle they have faced. We celebrate every milestone, stand beside those still fighting, and hold close the families of the children we’ve lost.
To our fighters and their families: your Rams community sees you, honors you, and stands with you. 💛🐏
