MicroCare hosted its Tucson Local Market Bazaar on February 15, 2026, bringing together a vibrant community of women entrepreneurs from across Tucson. The event was supported by 4 volunteers and 6 paid contractors who assisted with tent setup and overall event logistics. MicroCare also collaborated with Nour Market, whose owner is a MicroCare client, providing invaluable community ties and outreach support — particularly within Tucson's Afghan community.

The program provided 25 women with a free platform to showcase their art, crafts, and small businesses. Participants represented 10 countries, reflecting the rich diversity of Tucson's immigrant and refugee community. Many of these women are working professionals pursuing entrepreneurship as a second income source — using their skills to support their families and build financial independence.

The energy and enthusiasm at the event were remarkable, reinforcing MicroCare's commitment to creating accessible pathways for women in business — whether just starting out or looking to grow an established venture. Based on the strong community response, MicroCare plans to organize this event quarterly, providing ongoing visibility, networking, and resources to help our clients thrive.
