Trail rides and lessons on Tucson's East side close to Saguaro National Park.
The Houston family invites you to enjoy a few hours or a few hours more on one of their beautiful trail rides or in one of their horsemanship classes. Our ranch is located on the east side of Tucson in the serene Tanque Verde Valley surrounded by old mesquite trees. Access to miles and miles of trails into the Sonoran Desert and in Saguaro National Park are readily available.
Yesterday Group 2 ran into 2 turtles! One in the wash and one right in the middle of where we saddle the horses. He was motoring through when we came back from our trail ride. We joked about the first turtle's energy being up, just like our riders needed to get their energy up for their horses to trot. The turtle was definitely high energy! ๐

This dude was hanging out along the trail yesterday evening. Thankfully, they don't want to hang with us any more than we want to hang with them! ๐ต๐๐๐ค

Group 2 did a great job this morning! We continued working in pairs to help them improve their control, as they synchronize with their partners. You can see them becoming more natural and confident.
We finished off with a trail ride into Saguaro National Park East. Everyone really stepped up this week, supporting each other and becoming partners with their horses! ๐ ๐ด ๐ค ๐ข ๐ต

โRARE OPENING IN OUR AFTER-SCHOOL GROUP LESSON PROGRAMโ
We have space for ONE rider in our group lesson on Mondays from 4:30-6:00pm.
Details:
๐๐ผSchool-year commitment required (September - May)
๐๐ผGroup lessons (8-12 riders, 3-5 wranglers)
๐๐ผAges 6-14 (we break into small groups based on ability during the lesson itself as necessary)
๐๐ผ$55 per lesson, due in 3-month increments throughout the year (31 total lessons)
