We have another great bonded pair of senior guys. These boys came through PACC in 2016. They returned recently as strays and are looking for a true retirement home where they can spend their golden years hanging out together and being loved. Logan is a bit bossy in play group at PACC, so a two dog home might be best, or a very laid back other dog who doesn't mind him calling most of the shots. He is also more vocal than his pal Milo. Milo is the easy-going guy, just sort of rolls with whatever comes along. Logan will play with a tennis ball if he's in the mood, Milo prefers treats, please. They walk great together and truly are deeply bonded to one another. There is no question they are related, as their original pics from ten years ago makes them look like brothers. We think they are the same age and likely siblings. They are available to adopt or foster, TOGETHER.

Omelet

Omelet arrived at PACC after he was taken to a local emergency vet clinic with injuries that the shelter clinic took care of. He is a big love with everyone he meets. He really loves tennis balls, and more than one works best so he can carry one while you throw the other. Over and over a few times, then he likes to plop down on the cool floor and relax. He's a strong guy, so he'll need someone who can handle him, but he is pretty well behaved on his walks, and he loves to smell all the smells. He'd be quite happy to be your one and only, as he loves to snuggle and soak up all the love you have to give, but a calm and non-dominant house buddy could work just fine, too. He seems to open up with calm female dogs, even if they are smaller than him. He is available to adopt or foster.

Lester

Lester came into PACC as a stray. He is a BIG guy and was described by shelter staff as being a gentle giant. During his time at PACC, he had a doggy cold (he's all better now) and he appears to enjoy cooling off in the pools in the play yards on these hot summer days. He is a pretty nervous guy, but he enjoys being with his person/people a whole lot. Walks make him nervous, because it is a big scary world out there, and being in a kennel is scary, too. But when you take the time to sit with him and give him some attention, he just melts into you. He isn't too interested in toys right now, but if he sticks around long enough, that might change. He is available to adopt or foster.

Padjo

Padjo arrived at PACC recently after his owner passed. He's a nervous guy, and we've learned that his life before arriving at the shelter might not have been the best. At PACC, he generally kept to himself during his play group evaluation. He walks nicely on leash, but he prefers to just be by someone more than anything. He isn't interested in toys, but he does love to be loved on; he soaks it right up. He is available to adopt or foster.

Padjo has mad skills when it comes to touching his nose with his tongue! He is also incredibly gentle with the sweetest disposition, come by and meet him.

HUGE NEWS! Harley has been adopted!!!

We are so excited to report the very happy news that tonight, Harley sleeps in his new home with his new mom!

Harley has been a TRN fixture for months now. We all adore him and it's been hard watching him slowly get depressed a little more each week when no one came for him. During his time at Tucson Rescue Now we learned so much about him, and we hope that helped him to find his forever home. A longtime PACC volunteer/foster took him home for a week recently so we could learn some more about him, too. To say he is much loved among the volunteers and staff of both TRN and PACC (including EPAC) is to put it mildly.

Personally, I struggled for a while about him and what the best solution was. I realized that ultimately it was my own ego that was preventing me from making that call to Wade at EPAC. Once I accepted it for what it was, reaching out a couple of weeks back was easy. We coordinated the plan to move Harley from PACC to their new eastside location, and we would still bring him one day a week to TRN. Well, it only took a week and he's outta there! Big thanks to Wade, Katy and the staff/volunteers at EPAC for helping him to get settled in and then to get him out the door today!!

We hope he is the very best boy for his new mom, and we hope they have a lot of bright and happy tomorrows together. To say we will miss his goofy antics and his unique interior decorating skills in his kennel is a huge understatement. But we could not be happier for this long-timer to have found his forever home. Best wishes to our boy and his mom!

Blanca will be arriving fashionably late this Saturday, as all great divas do! We expect her to arrive between 12:30 and 1pm. One of her foster's pets has an unexpected urgent vet visit this morning, so send good thoughts their way, please!

Blanca came to PACC due to a small hoarding case. She is a small older gal who needs and certainly deserves a calm, peaceful retirement home to spend all the rest of her days in. She has previously lived with other small dogs, but she seems to prefer being your special solo senior princess. While at PACC, she was housed alone. She is on a short foster stay this week. Once she feels safe with you, she will walk on a leash and she likes to be right by you. She is nervous, but she is ok with being carried, and she appreciates all the love and cuddles she can get. She is available to adopt.
