Harley
• Neutered Male
• 87 pounds
• 9 years old
• ID #: 724301
Harley is a big boy who arrived as a stray at PACC. He loves the ladies, but fun guys are ok in his book, too. He'd like to meet any potential doggy friends before he heads home and would prefer they be mellow and laid back. He loves to spend time in our play yard, and plays with all sorts of toys these days--tennis balls, squeaky toys, and he can make almost any toy work for a spirited game of tug. He likes to take walks and appreciates it if he can smell everything while he is out and about. He is said to be able to clear a 5 foot fence; but we've found that once he feels safe and knows he is cared for and not being left alone, he has no desire to roam. He really enjoys his treats and is an avid fan of food in general; he loves mealtime! He recently got to spend the day at a golf tournament and he enjoyed being outdoors in the fresh air and meeting lots of new friends. He rides great in the car and he is a champion nap-taker! He is available to adopt or foster.
Come meet him at Tucson Rescue Now, located at 4752 E. Grant Rd. (SE corner of Grant and Swan), open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm, or message us through our page, or email [email protected] for more information!

Olive
• Spayed Female
• 56 pounds
• 5 years old
• ID #: 897918
Olive came to PACC when her previous owner was no longer able to keep her. She shares her kennel at the shelter with a dog she enjoys playing with, so a furry friend in her new home is a definite possibility. She'd also enjoy being your one and only. She is a strong gal, so she'll need someone who can handle her strength while working with her to continue improving her leash manners. She LOVES to play and splash in the water, and is just a lovely girl. As we learn more about her, we will update her info. She is available to adopt or foster.
Come meet her at Tucson Rescue Now, located at 4752 E. Grant Rd. (SE corner of Grant and Swan), open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm, or message us through our page, or email [email protected] for more information!

Goliath
• Neutered Male
• 75 pounds
• 6 years old
• ID #: 830498
Goliath does it best, so we will let him tell you all about his amazingness!
I am Soooper awesums.
Anywho..thingZ about me include da following...
*I snore loud
*I have a head the size of a gallon of milks
*I like to put myself in the dirt and not on my bed when I am outside. This means I get lots of wiped down baths when I come in the house. I am a pretty clean dog.
*I am a couch potato, a bed potato, and a chair potato.
*I love love love love to ride in the car.
*I gets excited when my foster mom comes home from work and want to play with the ball, but I don't want to play with it with her. I just want to play with it by myself.
*I have gotten along with cats, and I i think maybe they liked me a little.
*I am the (not so) great lizard hunter when I see them in my yard. My foster mom still thinks it's funny I go after little, tiny lizards and have no interest in bunnies or birds other than to sit and watch them.
*I have some issues with my knees so I am not a hiking or running dog. These issues also mean I am on medication that my foster mom gives me when i'm not feeling well. But I am still a fantastic dog
So come see my fantastic self and my other friends this weekend. I think my foster mom will post a few things about some of those dogs so look for that.

He is available to adopt or foster.

Little Lady
• Spayed Female
• 64 pounds
• 10 years old
• ID #: 879096
Little Lady is yet ANOTHER dog from the large dog hoarding case from earlier this year. We've helped several find homes, so let's keep the ball rolling for this sweet senior girl, too! She has had kennelmates during her time at PACC and seems to find courage when she is with them. Having a calm dog who can help her navigate her big new world could be very healing for her. Finding a loving, quiet and patient home is what she most wants in life right now. She walks nicely on leash, albeit a bit nervously at times, and she takes a bit to warm up to new people because she came from a pretty crummy environment before coming to PACC.

Astrid
• Spayed Female
• 59 pounds
• 10 years old
• ID #: 841285
Astrid has been with her loving foster family for a while now, hoping to find her forever home. They bring her to TRN each week, typically every Sunday. While she loves to visit the store, we know she'd really like to meet that special person or family she can call her very own for all the rest of her days! She loves her foster boys, even comforting them when they're sad. One of her favorite things is to play tug, she is amazingly strong for a gal her age! She enjoys car rides, snuggling is a favorite past-time, rolling in the grass and she'll even fetch when the feeling strikes. Squeaky toys are the best, and she can de-squeak and unstuff them in no time flat. She likes being the only dog in her current home, although she has met male dogs in the past that she enjoyed playing with, so that's a possibility. This special gal will steal your heart! She is available to adopt.
She is typically with us on Sundays each week. Come meet her at Tucson Rescue Now, located at 4752 E. Grant Rd. (SE corner of Grant and Swan), open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm, or message us through our page, or email [email protected] for more information!

Kaia
• Spayed Female
• 80 pounds
• 8 years old
• ID #: 878948
Kaia is available to adopt or foster!
Her previous foster mom says:
Kaia is ready for her new home, are you looking for a big bundle of loyalty and love? Foster or adopt this 9-year-old sweetheart and just relax. She’s quiet, friendly, calm, smart, low-maintenance, non-destructive, completely housebroken and polite. Sooo polite! She is a pleasure to walk.
We don’t know anything about her past: this 80-pound pit bull was dropped off at PACC August 2025 as a stray. I met her in December at Tucson Rescue Now (TRN) and have fostered her ever since, with a couple stays back at PACC when I was out of town. Kaia has been a TRN fan favorite for her easy-going ways. She needs to be someone’s only pet and prefers no young kids, please.
Kaia loves walking three or four times a day for about ten minutes each time (she has some arthritis in her back legs). She has her routines – once a neighbor gave her a treat and Kaia still stops at that driveway every day. She recognizes her people friends at a distance and her tail starts wagging her whole body - she can’t wait to see them again! While she ignores some dogs on our walks, she does tense up with others. I am not particularly strong (in my 70s) but it is not hard for me to calm her down and put her into sitting position until the “offending” dog passes by.
Come meet her at Tucson Rescue Now, located at 4752 E. Grant Rd. (SE corner of Grant and Swan), open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm, or message us through our page or email [email protected] for more information!

We are just sick to have to share this info.
MONTY IS LOST! She was in a foster home and bolted from her foster over a week ago. The foster believes someone might have her in a nearby home. Since there isn't any solid proof of that at this time, we need to proceed on the assumption that she is out there on her own again in this triple digit heat and we are hoping you all can help share her post and keep your eyes out.
From a distance she resembles a coyote with her big ears and slender build and coloration. We all adore her and can't believe she has been missing this long already. I've included multiple pictures to try to capture the angles and give you a bit more to go by.
Fingers crossed she is found and returns to the shelter QUICKLY!!!

Can your lap handle Goliath? You see, he thinks he's the size of a chihuahua. We don't have the heart to break it to him that he is a VERY big boy. He so loves to sit on you in a chair, or next to you on the couch. He just loves to be close, and he is a great snuggler! Come on by Tucson Rescue Now on Sunday between 11am and 3pm to meet him and 6 of his furriest pals.
You can find them at:

Long-timer Gia has gone HOME!!!
Her new mom met her yesterday, and her parents came back with their little dog for Gia to meet in the afternoon. This morning, right after we opened, they were there for Gia and after the paperwork and a new collar, Gia was out the door and on to a wonderful new life. Her mom had two beautiful female boxers and lost both of them. She shared that when she saw Gia's videos on our page, she realized Gia reminded her of both of the beloved girls. Everyone who knows Gia knows what a lovebug she is, and she shared that love with her new mom and grandparents, too. Gia has had a rough life prior to coming to PACC, and then she arrived and had life-saving surgery and all that the recovery of that entails. She started the emotional healing coming to Tucson Rescue Now and enjoying all the extra attention and lots of play time in the yard. And now she has a whole new extended family to share her love with, and we suspect she will help them heal as much as they will help her.
Gia, we sure will miss you and & your snoring while wide awake (AND asleep!). You've been a blast to have at the store, and we know that you have such a bright future ahead of you! Enjoy your new family, and know that you take the love of so many from PACC and TRN with you in your heart. Congratulations to the whole family!
Gia is dog # 626 through TRN's doors to be adopted!
