Our TVR leadership team traded spreadsheets for spatulas this week for our annual Employee Appreciation BBQ! 🤠

It's our way of thanking the incredible associates who make the Ranch what it is. A dunk tank gave the team some well-earned payback, and we raffled off prizes!

To our staff: thank you for everything you do. This Ranch runs because of you.

You've just pulled up to Tanque Verde Ranch. Your bags are being taken care of and the rest of the afternoon and evening is ahead of you.

What do you do first?
A) Head straight to the barn to get back in the saddle
B) Find a quiet spot with a cold drink and let the desert decompress you
C) Eat at the Cowboy Cookout for an authentic feast (and save 20%)

Drop your answer in the comments. We want to know how you'd spend your first day on the ranch.

🤠 🎉 ✨ Please join us in welcoming Nicole Brookfield to the Tanque Verde Ranch family as our new Sales Manager!

Nicole brings over 11 years of experience in weddings and special events, along with a true passion for creating unforgettable experiences. Throughout her career, she has helped countless couples and clients bring their visions to life, and we are thrilled to have her expertise guiding guests as they plan their own memorable celebrations at the Ranch. Her dedication to exceptional service and attention to detail make her a wonderful addition to our team.

When she’s not busy making brides' dreams come true and helping create unforgettable events, Nicole enjoys spending time in the great outdoors. She loves gardening, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her Australian Shephard. One of her favorite memories is picking fresh blackberries with her family in British Columbia and making homemade blackberry pie together, a tradition that reflects her appreciation for family and nature.

Nicole’s favorite quote is: “It’s the possibility of a dream come true that makes life interesting,” Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist.

We couldn’t agree more, and we know she’ll help make many dreams come true here at Tanque Verde Ranch. Please help us give Nicole a warm Tanque Verde Ranch welcome!

Tanque Verde Ranch is all-inclusive, and day to day, meals become part of the rhythm of your stay. Show up hungry and the chef takes care of the rest.

Dining at the Ranch is one of those things we've heard guests say "I didn't realize I'd love this so much." The food is Southwestern-inspired, the setting is ranch-authentic and you get to choose our communal dinner table outside or a cozy spot inside.

The key question when planning a family reunion: Where should we do this?
Tanque Verde Ranch is built for multi-generational groups in a way that most venues aren't.

The kids have the barn, the trails and the swimming pool. The adults have the spa, the chef's table and meaningful porch conversations.

Everybody rides together in the morning and eats together in the evening. The desert takes care of the rest.

We've got some good news: Tanque Verde Ranch has been named a Top Workplace in Arizona for the third year running.

This award is based on feedback from our own team, the people saddling horses at sunrise, running the kids' programs, working the kitchen and checking in guests every single day.

A big part of what makes Tanque Verde Ranch so special comes down to the people here and the community we're part of, from volunteering together in Tucson to a culture where every department works together. Congratulations to our whole team. This one's for you! 🤠

Here's some advice about July in the Sonoran Desert: Ride in the morning and swim in the afternoon.

The desert earns your attention in the early hours with the light, the quiet, the wildlife moving before the heat arrives. By midday, the ranch's pool becomes exactly what it needs to be. It's a cold, still, completely justified pause before the evening brings everything back to life again.

The Chef's Table at Tanque Verde Ranch is an intimate experience built around Southwestern flavors, locally-inspired ingredients, and a setting that makes you put your phone down and be present.

It's an experience that guests often tell us they almost skipped, then describe as the highlight of their stay. Come experience it for yourself.

You don't have to book a week to experience Tanque Verde Ranch.

The Getaway Days program was designed for the people who've driven past the Speedway Blvd turnoff a hundred times and thought "someday." For Tucson locals, Phoenix weekenders, Scottsdale day-trippers, the ranch is closer than most people realize, and a full day out here is a different experience than anything else within a few hours' drive.

A ride through Saguaro National Park land, lunch at the ranch, and an afternoon at La Sonora Spa. That's a Tuesday off done right.

The land that is now Tanque Verde Ranch has been home to people for centuries. The Pima Indians settled near what is now the Cottonwood Grove in the 1600s, carving bedrock metates into the stone that can still be found in the earth today.

That history is why we seriously take the idea that this place belongs to something larger than any one chapter of its story. When guests walk these 640 acres, they're walking ground that has been significant to human beings for generations beyond counting.
