👇PARENTS PLEASE READ👇Parenting in today’s youth sports landscape has gotten out of control. Over the years, we have highlighted some of the crazy things parents yell and do, sometimes even resorting to violence. We as parents get so wrapped up in our kids and their sports that we often forget we are reflecting the kind of people our kids will grow up to be. Our kids become collateral damage in an area of their life that is supposed to be fun and exciting for them. We as parents have to do better. We understand that not every coach will be a great coach and not every team will be the right fit for your child. But we must keep ourselves in check because there are respectful ways to address a coach, another parent, or an official. If you are going to watch your child play then simply do that. Watch them, cheer them on, support them, and thank your coaches. Coaches are doing a service to you and your kids by providing a place for them to have fun, learn, develop, and make friends. If you don’t like the team or the coach Jeff said it best: go out and coach, otherwise sit down and be quiet.At the end of the day, how we behave in the stands teaches our kids more than any coach ever could. Let’s teach them respect, kindness, and true sportsmanship. Via: @onthreestories

We do not need another circle k in the area for many reasons. I can't go since the meeting was changed but if I could I would go and voice my displeasure for safety and well-being of our area and young people

Below please find the new meeting logistics for the City of Tucson Mayor & Council meeting.

Date: Wednesday, Oct 8
Time: 5:00pm - 6:30pm (Circle K will be an early item on the Agenda)
Place: Tucson City Hall, Council Chambers, 255 W Alameda St

The City of Tucson Mayor & Council will be reviewing the Circle K liquor license application in this meeting; it is a crucial moment for our community.

TVVA is asking for your support to make our collective voice heard and send a clear message to Circle K that our community opposes this permit. Please join Jim and JoAnn Trego, TVVA, at Tucson City Hall to present your individual thoughts at Council.
Please be sure to arrive before 5pm so you can:
Fill out a "speaker's card"
Each speaker is allotted 3 minutes to express their opinions
Prepared statements are beneficial
