This early hand-wired Matchless Clubman 35 has a huge Tempe legacy, having appeared on both Refreshments records, as well as the Gas Giants debut. It has been on stages all over the country with both bands since the early ‘90s and now it lives here at Zapp City. Will it be on your next record?

On deck for today’s client, (L-R) we have a custom Mondell Johnny Zapp model, an ‘01 Gibson Firebird V, my treasured 1967 Gibson ES-335, and a Reuter Guitars custom Tele that still has Nita’s Hideaway and Long Wong’s mojo trapped inside. Grievous Angels anyone?

Growing up in Huntington Beach in the ‘80s, not only were Dogtown Skateboards our preferred method of transportation, but we also - at 12 years old - would pile drums, guitars and amps on them to get them from house to house. Now, they live in the lounge at Zapp City for our clients to rip it up in the parking lot at break time!
