Success is not a Birthright,
It is a Gift & a Privledge. “Ash To Dust” is a band located in Tucson, AZ, in the United States.
They are a thrash band that was formed in July 2007 by Robb Matthews & Lael Clark. Over the years, there have been numerous changes to the band, such as new members and new names. With the passing of their guitar player, Paul Von Bargen, and Robb's Mom, it was a devastating blow and almost the end of Ash To Dust. Their first three shows were a “Battle of the Bands” in which they placed 2nd, With those three shows, the floodgates opened and Ash To Dust was given the opportunities to open for: Testament, Sacred Reich, Flotsam and Jetsam, Exodus, Sevenwitches, Obituary, Goatwhore, Warbringer, Heathen, Kittie, Evile, Bonded By Blood, Forbidden, Death Angel, Sepultura. Since 2019 Robb has continued to work with some amazing musicians with Ash to Dust & Have released two studio albums under the Earache Records label( Demons Within(2019) and Reaper of Souls (2022) which were recorded at L & A Studios where they were recorded and engineered by Robb and Omar Craviotto( Demons Within ) as well as David James Sirmon at Music Hallow Recordings/Woodshed Studios where Reaper of Souls was mixed and Mastered. As of now, the boys are working hard to get all the songs up to par- Robb has taken over some of the lead guitar duties and is learning some of Omar's amazing solos. Late Fall, the Boys will be working on writing the 3rd album, due out in Late Fall of 2026, and will be recorded at L & A Studios, And Planning to promote and tour the U.S., Canada, and possibly some overseas shows as well. Please go check out Lyss Marie AND LME Magazine. This amazing review that she did. This was probably the best review or interview or any kind of thing that I and Ash To Dust I've ever had, it was one hundred percent real, one hundred percent authentic, and she really dug deep and was awesome about this interview. And review. Thank you also to Angel Phoenix for helping her find us and us find her without you, this never would've took place.

, So about a week ago I deleted this page ( Apperantly no one noticed 🙄😪) but I've decided to try to find 3 musicians to help me write and record the rest of the 3rd album. I gave my mom my word when she passed to never give up. So with that said, I will find 3 musicians to record the album, play a few farewell shows and im really thinking as of 12/31/2027 Ash to Dust will be no more!! I will concentrate on my other project Darkness in the Shadows. So if your a double bass drummer, Bassist and Lead guitarist or maybe a vocalist that wants to throw down vocals for a song and collaborate, hit me up if you would like to help a fellow musician finish this studio album.Last but not least THANK YOU TO ALL OUR FANS Worldwide, without you this band would have existed, or been able to achieve some of my dreams! Thank you for all the love, devotion , respect ,as always my friends Keep it Sikk 🤘🤘🤘🎶🎼🎼🎶🤘🤘 You never know things might change but I seriously doubt it, Unless I move out of Tucson ( which I Always think about, but not in this economy 🤣🤣)
Congratulations to our Drummer Jamie LaFave !! He is Going to be on a local news Brodcast in Michigan to Discuss the band, his Endorsements, The new Album , Drum lessons and His Own brand couldn't be prouder of this dude, his hard work, dedication and willingness to get Ash to Dust signed to Combat Records 🤘
