My first reaction to seeing her was: Why are you standing in front of a kitchen sink? It took quite a while to figure out she was supposed to be sitting at "the kitchen table."
What man thought the optics of a woman, with a high position in the public sphere delivering a national speech from the most domestic setting in the home sphere was a good idea?
But more importantly, WHY DIDN'T SHE OBJECT TO IT?
For women to succeed in politics, we have to stop listening to male political consultants. They are clueless!! As women we need to listen to our own instincts and follow them.

I just heard a Congresswoman say she had to have an “abortion” after she had a “miscarriage.”
What?? Why do you need to abort a fetus after you lost a fetus??
To be correct she should have said she needed a D&C after she had a miscarriage. According to the Mayo Clinic a D&C is a procedure to remove uterine tissue after a miscarriage or abortion.
But recently people conflate a D&C with an elective abortion.
So, did the Congresswoman choose to use the term “abortion” instead of “D&C” in order to confuse, scare and manipulate women for political purposes???
Does she believe women are driven by emotion, more so than critical thinking and therefore is seizing an opportunity to influence us?
As women, we must educate ourselves on reproduction, pregnancy, miscarriage and abortion (as well as all other issues) because these are heated political issues and people will try to emotionally manipulate us.
As women we must be knowledgeable so we can form our belief system and then advocate for ourselves and our beliefs.

This is such an important concept that as women we don't apply to ourselves enough because it is rooted in male energy. Our feminine energy invites others to connect with us and even invade us. By balancing male and female energy within ourselves we can connect with others AND also set boundaries.

Did you notice that in the opinion, all of the men agreed, while the women wrote exceptions, based on the same principle??
What MALE thinking did the women object to??
Men have a tendency to take a thought and carry it way far out through a narrow linear perspective. Because their perspective is so narrow and linear, they ignore the existence of possibilities, circumstances, and situations outside their narrow perspective. They want to believe they have resolved a problem in its entirety when they haven't. Instead, they actually create confusion and more issues, when possibilities they ignored become reality.
The women justices understood this male thinking and objected to it. They prove why we need both male and female thinking in all of our institutions.
