Getting ready for Jr Street! Our first driving lesson.

Well, that's a wrap for Miss Averie and Big Wheels. Her next journey will be the 6-9 age group in her Jr Dragster. Taking this photo shows all of her accomplishments along the way with her very first win being the Superhero race at the end of her first season.

This year Averie finished off her last race season as a Big Wheeler in 3rd place in the Team Firebird points and 4th place in the Team Tucson points.

Some days she really didn't want to race, other days she was too cold to race and wanted just to be done. It was frustrating and a blast all at the same time. When she first started it was just a heads-up race with the older kids always taking the wins. After her first season they began to do dial ins, have you ever had to try and dial in a kid on a bike with no attention span? Some days she was killer others she couldn't figure out if she wanted to go slow or fast. And some days she would start out slow and then really want to beat her competitor and go way faster than she had been all morning.

To Team Firebird and Team Tucson, we thank you for putting on this amazing program for the little kids that love racing. We will continue to support the programs, her big wheel will be going to a newcomer for the next season, and we will be cheering all of our friends on that are still competing in Big Wheels.

The engine is ready to go back in the car. Only 109* today!

Aubrie made it to the winners circle again this last weekend securing her number 2 spot in the points chase. She has made it to the winners circle 4 times out of the 8 races this year. We are very proud of her and her accomplishments this year.

Both girls did very well this year in their classes and both will be moving up next year. Averie will be racing her Jr Dragster in the 11.90 class and Aubrie will be in the 7.90 class as well as starting Jr Street this year.

Last team race of the season! Both girls are excited to run the night race today.

Averie is finishing the season strong! Last weekend she got runner up at Firebird Motorsports Park for race 7 and again she got runner up in both races at Tucson Dragway this weekend. If she just could have had this drive at the beginning of the season.

Last Friday night on our way to Tucson we picked up Averie's new race car and surprised her with it. She was one happy girl and can't wait to start racing,

For race #6 we didn't get a car into the finals but Khloe did end up grabbing the cash in the run for the money in Jr Street.
