Even in the desert we've been enjoying the superbloom that happens after winter rains, and I can't help but stop to take pictures whenever I see the spectacular flowers that emerge from our vast variety of cactus.

If loving flowers is wrong, I don't want to be right.

I did the math and I've been silversmithing for about 22 years now. That number sounds impressive, but the first few years were strictly spent learning, playing, and failing, which led to more learning.

We hit a heat wave this weekend. It went from cool rains and low 70's temps early last week to searing 100 degrees the last 3 days--just in time for our outdoor projects. 🥵

This message is for all the moms. Maybe that means I'm excluding a few people but, as the saying goes, you can't please all the people all the time.

I'm a mom, and in our house our Mother's day tradition is to force my family to take me to a museum of some kind or the botanical gardens. I enjoy it, and as they get older my children will learn to pretend that they enjoy it, too!

Moms are pretty important, and everyone has had one. I'm glad you're here, and I have your mom to thank for that! Today I want to wish all the moms a good day spent doing what you would like to do.
