Is your child ready for potty training? In partnership with the Arizona Diaper Bank, the Woods Memorial Library will be offering a Potty Training Workshop for families with little ones ready to potty train (ages 0-3 years). Participants who complete the 30 minute session will take home a free potty-training kit which includes books, a chart, and a 3-in-1 potty chair! The workshop will be offered on the last Friday of every month, starting Friday, June 26th. The workshop is free, but registration is required. Celebrate young poets at the Golden Hour Showcase! ✨
After sharing their poetry at Richard Elías-Mission, Valencia, and Woods Memorial libraries, select poets ages 9 - 18 will participate in the culminating Golden Hour event:
Golden Hour: A Showcase of Youth Poets
Sunday, June 28 from 5 pm to 6 pm
Fox Tucson Theatre, 17 W. Congress St.
Hosted by the Library's Many Nations Team, this showcase will offer an inspiring event of original poetry performed live by talented, local young writers on the Fox Tucson Theatre stage! As the sun sets and golden hour fills the theatre, audiences will experience powerful voices, creative storytelling, and unforgettable performances from youth across the community.
