Amphi Foundation

We’re so grateful to have the opportunity to strenghten our organization thanks to the 2026 TeamUp Grant. Thank you Community Foundation for Southern Arizona.

Shoes to Smiles is celebrating 20 YEARS!

For two decades, this program has provided Amphi students with new shoes and socks, and we’re so excited to celebrate this milestone.

We’ve hit the ground running this year, shopping with students from Amphitheater Middle School and Coronado K-8 and we’re looking forward to serving Amphi students all school year long!

Attention Educators: Got a project idea that could transform learning for your students? We want to help!

We're accepting Educator Grant requests!

Upcoming Deadline: September 18 for next quarterly review.

School supplies, bombas socks, and lots of friendly faces!

What a great evening meeting families from LM Prince Elementary School and Amphi Middle School! We shared information about the Amphi Foundation’s Clothing Bank and made sure students left with a few useful goodies! We love getting out into schools and connecting with our Amphi family.

A huge THANK YOU to Pueblo Mechanical & Controls and Progressive Roofing for hosting an incredible Back to School Give Back Mixer this evening!

So many generous organizations came by to help restock school shelves with easy, healthy snacks for Amphi students.

When kids are hungry, it’s hard to make the most of their school day. Having a simple snack available can make a real difference!

Thank you to everyone who helped us remove one more barrier to student success.

When community partners step up, our students thrive! 🌟

We are grateful to Tucson Electric Power for presenting a generous $10,000 check at our recent board meeting in support of our Full STEAM Ahead program. This funding gives our teachers the flexibility to easily purchase hands-on materials that bring science to life in the classroom.

"Having these funds removes a barrier for teachers. Instead of asking, 'Can we afford to do this?' we can focus on a much more important question: 'What experience can we create that will help our students understand this standard?'"
— Jill Christman, Canyon del Oro High School Chemistry Teacher

Thank you, TEP, for giving our teachers the freedom to innovate and our students more opportunities to learn in exciting ways!

We’re proud to close out our celebration of the 2026 Arizona Education Hall of Fame inaugural class with the Amphi Foundation, our School District Foundation of the Year! 🎉

The Amphi Foundation, serving Tucson-area students and educators, provides clothing and shoes for students in need, food drives, emergency family funding, scholarships, teacher grants, classroom supplies, and academic programs across the Amphitheater School District.

Congratulations to the Amphi Foundation on this well-deserved honor, and thank you for all you do to help students, educators, and families thrive.

We were deeply honored to be named the Inaugural School District Foundation of the Year at today’s Arizona Educational Foundation Back to School Breakfast!

It was wonderful to spend the morning celebrating Arizona’s dedicated educators and cheering on the 2027 Arizona Teacher of the Year. A special shoutout to our neighbor in the Vail School District who took home the honor!

Congratulations to our fellow Hall of Fame inductees:
Desert Financial - Pillar of Public Education Award
Salt River Project - Spirit of Education Award
Marianne Lescher - Education Leader of the Year
Michelle Bugh Doherty - Carolyn Warner Legacy Award

Thank you to Amphitheater Public Schools Superintendent Todd Jaeger, Associate Superintendent Tassi Call, and Board Chair Michael McConnell for joining us today, and to our incredible community of supporters, board members, donors, and staff who have helped build our Foundation over the last 43 years. This honor belongs to all of you!

A new classroom doesn't come ready to teach.

Teachers purchase shelving and organizational supplies, headphones, snacks and more to create spaces where every student can learn.

📚 Teachers spend an average of $895 out of pocket each year.

📄 97% say their classroom budget isn't enough.

📈 82% say rising costs are making it even harder.

We think teachers should be focused on students, not supply receipts! Help us welcome a new teacher today with a $250 gift!
