Meet Coconut, a beautiful Umbrella Cockatoo who came to Paradise Parrot Rescue with an absolutely heartbreaking injury — her bottom jaw is severely broken and damaged.

And yet… Coconut keeps going. ❤️
Despite everything she has been through, this incredible bird has somehow adapted, learned how to eat, and found a way to persevere. She doesn’t understand that she’s supposed to give up. She simply wakes up each day and keeps moving forward.

There’s something all of us can learn from Coconut. Sometimes life leaves us with challenges we never asked for and circumstances we cannot change. But even then, there can still be hope. There can still be joy. And there can still be another chapter. 🥹❤️

This sweet little Sun Conure came to us this week with a significant scissor beak. Its owner brought the bird to Paradise Parrot Rescue because of our experience and reputation for helping parrots with challenging beak conditions.

After a careful beak trim, we were able to greatly improve the alignment and make this little guy much more comfortable. While he'll need ongoing maintenance to keep his beak healthy, he's already feeling much better!
