It’s hard for me to sell my things when the fall of p4t1i4rchy is happening all around me and I’m discovering that my entire girlhood was designed by ped0ph1l3s. But here I am, because I also live in a capitalistic society and I need to pay some bills and would love to share my joyful (sometimes rageful) art with you. ✨

I’ve taken a break from markets for my and my family’s health and while I am still working part time (come to The Rogue Theatre!) I could really use some support online and in stores. Oh darn, you have to go support some local businesses by shopping local? What a terrible Sunday lol 😅

I have limited selection of items I make when you order them, and mostly everything is in stock right now in addition to a bunch of cute metal charm huggie hoops and one of kind in stock pieces. You can also find me in most parts of Tucson at some gift shop. is on Broadway and Houghton for east siders and is open 7 days a week! Even if you aren’t an east sider it’s worth the drive for the galaxy movie theatre with reclining seats and food delivered to your chair. 🍿

I am restocking everywhere early this week, so I’ll post in my stories what’s available where. I’m also feeling less burned out and more creative, which means the break is working! Thank you for your support. I love seeing the joy that spreads with my art and I feel like joy is more important than ever to combat all the negativity in the world. 💖

To end our holiday season, you can find me at the MSA Holiday Bazaar (our 4th annual!) this weekend Friday through Sunday. Did you know that the first year we did this event I was very pregnant with Esben? I prepared so much inventory that fall in case I had a baby in the middle of holiday markets. I did not, he ended up being born on December 27!

October was a busy, busy month and not for the reasons you might think!

1: Eleanor and I started October by seeing going to the theatres with to see The Life of a Showgirl and honestly I don’t think I’ve stopped listening to the album since.

2. The reason I’ve been so busy…I returned to working in theatre (for a bit). You might know that I studied theatre and worked in theatre professionally until 2020. My friends at the Rogue asked me to stage manage a show so I uncertainly returned to a job I haven’t done in a long time. I was nervous and rusty and worried about doing a good job but it was a new challenge that came at the right time! I really enjoyed collaborating on art again, since I do most of Coy Creative by myself. More on that in a later post. It has taken away from my time for Coy Creative, but the show is open and my schedule is more open now too. Come see Cloud 9 until November 23. ☁️

3. In a complicated story from our last couple of months, we lost our baby Freya and adopted a Bernadoodle, Sadie, who is now Esben’s best friend lol. We had adopted Sadie wanting a pack of 3 dogs and unfortunately ended up with about 48 hours of 3-dog bliss. We miss Freya so much, and having a funny puppy around has eased the pain with giggles and cuddles.

I’m so excited for the next few months and I can’t wait to share more with you!

Yesterday we celebrated my golden girl’s golden birthday and her entry into double digits. I looked at her last night and thought “I’ve been a MOM for TEN years” and I feel like I’m just growing into it.

I wrote her letters and notes for her birthday, but I wanted to write something different here.

To 24-year-old Megan,

You’re right, you are definitely not ready for this. You don’t know yet how much growth is left for you, and that this little girl is going to break you open in ways you never thought possible, or at least never dared to explore. She’ll push you far and make you reexamine everything you think you know. You won’t get a choice, you have to peek into those dark corners and heal for her and yourself. She’s going to fill your heart with so much love that you’ll finally know what it feels like to love someone so deeply it hurts. You’ll finally learn what it feels like to love yourself.

She will change you. You won’t always like it. She will challenge you. You’ll always be better for it. You might not always handle things the way you want or should. You’ll learn to apologize for something, even when you feel like it isn’t your fault (but that’s not the point). You’ll hold a life in your hands that you’ll quickly realize was never yours to control, but to mold as best as you can… while there’s a hole somewhere the sand is falling through and new sand is being added and someone keeps knocking your mold over. You do not get to decide who this person will be, but you have to take care of her and guide her and sometimes that’s frustrating. It’s also rewarding. One day she’ll tell you you’re cool or you’ll hear her bragging about your business to her friends and you’ll know that she loves you and you love her and no matter how hard it gets you’ll be okay if you just listen and apologize and giggle and cuddle and share and argue. As long as you’re there for her and doing your best, you’re doing great. No one really knows what they’re doing anyway.

Hey hey! Good morning. Today is Thursday and I forgot to share with y’all that I will be at the MSA Annex tomorrow night (Friday) for the Summer Night Market from 6-10pm. I’ll admit, the weather still makes me nervous, but *knock on wood*, it’s supposed to be a lovely no rain evening. Please come out to show your support and shop the Junk Jewelry collection. I’m also bringing a few pairs of rainbow monsoons 🌈🌧️

I highlighted on the map where I am setting up and where you can park! There are two parking lots, west and north of the annex. I believe they are charging for parking now ($5?) but there is also street parking and the street car. 💖🥰
