The beauty of the desert continues to blow me away 🌵

Born and raised in the pnw, it was truthfully a challenging transition when we moved to Tucson 6 years ago. If you’ve moved to another state, away from what you know and love you probably know what I’m talking about.
As corny as it may sound, exploring and intentionally looking for the beautiful places in our desert has made me fall in love with Tucson. Every time I go out for a session I’m blown away. So here’s my soapbox — go look for the beauty ✨

STRETCHY SWADDLES

I know, the muslin ones come in the cuuuutest prints and are great for so many things other than swaddling (convenient burp rag anyone?). But nothing keeps wiggly arms in place and knocks a baby out like a tight wrap in a stretchy jersey swaddle. Probs an unpopular opinion but I said it 🤭

Hi instaworld 👋 took an unplanned break from this little pocket of the interweb and I gotta say, it was real nice.

Life gets busy and sometimes social media is the thing that gets pushed aside. And I think I’m okay with that 🤷🏻‍♀️ We spent the holiday season with our families and enjoying a staycation after a busy season of photography, school events, visitors and celebrating Christmas.., and it was sooo wonderful.

The holiday fog is over and here we are, coming in hot with this dreamy, golden maternity session 🌞

⭐️ Fun fact: I had the joy of capturing this cutie’s newborn session last year and brought my own brand new baby Ivy along for their session. Both fresh babies slept through the session but this year was another story. Ivy stayed home because two busy babies would be🤪 so fun to see how they’ve grown and changed right before our eyes 📸
