Thought I’d introduce myself for anyone new here.

My name’s Hector Valenzuela. I am the owner of Bushido Studio in Tucson, Arizona. I enjoy working across different styles, but I’m especially drawn to fine-line and neo-traditional inspired work.

Tattooing is always a collaboration. I love hearing your ideas and working together to see them come to life .

Sometimes tattoos start with unexpected connections.

His wife actually came into the shop first to do the charm bar with a friend. They were having the best time, laughing a ton which reminded me of my wife and her best friend, and just enjoying themselves. While she was there she realized we also have a tattoo studio in the space, so she came over and talked with me for a bit.

She went home and told her husband about it, and he came in for a consultation not long after.

Yesterday I tattooed this fineline tattoo, a design that represents his family. The session was full of good conversation, a little espresso break, and just genuinely good company.

Really good people and a really meaningful tattoo. 🌹
