Two youth Turkey camps(JAKES) and almost 800 miles later and my weekend is winding down. Last day and we had a Tom coming in.... then a hen snuck up behind us and busted us.🙄 chased that sucker for two hours and finally gave up on him. They stuck with though and are going back today to try again. Good luck to them and everyone else chasing those elusive #*÷ # birds.😉

At the Marvin Robbins memorial youth Turkey hunt in Unit 23. Looks like a good turnout. Man am I looking forward to mentoring some kids.

Enjoying a day of rest. Went on the Huachuca Goulds chapters Goulds survey this weekend. They do a fantastic job of organizing and feeding everyone that shows up to help.

Thank you Huachuca Goulds Chapter of the NWTF fir all the work you do.(They have over a dozen events a year for kids, families and water tank repairs).

March’s raffle Fundraiser to support our mission is a Layke Tactical 6.5 Creedmoor AR10 with custom wood stock, hard case, and a Silencer Central .22 suppressor. This package is worth over $2500. Raffle entries are 1 for $10, 6 for $50, and 15 for $100. This fundraiser will end on 3/31/2023 and the winner will be notified the next day. Must be 21 or older to participate and pass an FFL background check. Firearm may be picked up at Dane Customs in Chandler, AZ or shipped to FFL of your choice. Winner must contact Silencer Central for paperwork and a $200 Federal stamp fee is required.

A huge shout out and congratulations to Jesse Warner for his Rookie of the Year award from the NWTF. He has so much passion for his job so this award was well deserved.
