PASSED INSPECTIONS and moving forward with this whole-home renovation in Northeast Atlanta. 🏡

We're completely re-doing the kitchen, bathroom and making layout changes to this venerable ranch home, while also adding a screen porch off the back of the house. 💪

We permit big jobs like this in order to make sure everything is up to current code, and Dekalb County came out to check the work we did updating the plumbing, electrical, HVAC and framing systems. 🕵️‍♂️

The inspector found everything done right, so now we're ready to move forward with the second half of the renovation: Installing insulation, drywall, cabinets and finishes-n-fixtures. This is where the process get's REALLY FUN as the transformation takes place. 😁

Remember that screen porch from the last update?

Yeah, it's nearing the finish line, framed up and ready for screens and finishing touches.

We just passed our rough electrical, plumbing, HVAC and framing inspections on this whole-home renovation near Northlake Mall in Northeast Atlanta, and the screen porch was an add-on that will deliver mad value for the homeowner in terms of enjoyment of their property.

As you can see from the photos, we included some neat features on this screen porch: A pre-wired TV wall, an extra-wide staircase and landing for keeping a grill accessible, a doggy door with clear vinyl paneling, and beautifully-crafted eaves to give the whole thing a unique look.
