Congratulations to the Carolina Hurricanes on bringing home the Stanley Cup!

Two months. Four rounds. Countless bumps, bruises, and ice packs. Turns out surviving professional sport's most punishing postseason isn't all that different from surviving a jobsite in July. Fortunately, professionals are built for the grind. Whether it's battling through the NHL Playoffs or finishing a job the right way, excellence has a way of rising to the top.

Professionals recognize professionals.

It is often believed that a powerful, secretive elite quietly run the world behind the scenes, and if that's true, their annual shareholder meeting is probably the Monaco Grand Prix. Naturally, by the time everyone arrives, the legendary Red Cain is already three glasses of Chateau Margaux deep and explaining market trends to people who own countries.

Red recently touched down at Nice’s Côte d’Azur Airport to what witnesses described as “somewhere between a diplomatic arrival and a Scorsese scene". As an avid F1 enthusiast, Punto Banco shark, French wine connoisseur and rumored Van Gogh collector, Red couldn’t miss a Riviera retreat to reconnect with his A-list rolodex. Sources spotted Red aboard Robert Kraft’s yacht engaged in serious conversation with Tom Brady, Max Verstappen, and Jeff Bezos. Whether they were discussing drywall finishing, race odds, Brady's new statue at Gillette or Red's excessive Amazon returns... Nobody knows for sure. But one thing is certain: when Red Cain travels abroad, powerful people listen, business gets handled, and RUCO truckloads somehow start multiplying across America.

As for who Red thinks will win the race, he simply replied: “Like every Monaco Grand Prix… whoever starts first.”

For 15 years, Heath has mastered the art of covering a huge territory while making every customer feel like they're right next door. Whether he's running his own Equalizer demos, fishing with customers, or solving problems in the field, Heath has always gone the extra mile.

When he's not on the road, you'll find him tending his tractor and small farm, exploring cities like New York and Chicago with his wife Sue, or heading off on exotic adventures; most recently spending 10 days in Cuba and somehow managing to blend in with the locals. He's a fan of country cooking, chili dogs, and accumulating an impressive top-shelf bourbon collection that remains in mint condition thanks to a strict no-drinking lifestyle.

Thank you Heath, for 15 years of hard work, dedication, and representing RUCO the right way. Congratulations on this milestone!

With 23 years of drywall finishing experience, Mario takes pride in helping contractors find solutions, answer questions, and maximize their team’s efforts on every jobsite. As a bilingual professional, he’s ready to connect with and support crews across Florida with the same hands-on approach that built his reputation in the field.

Born and raised in Miami and now calling Tampa home; Mario is a loyal Dolphins fan, which tells us he’s built plenty of patience and mental toughness over the years. He's also a lifelong Hurricanes fan who has patiently waited through the rebuild years and is now finally getting to enjoy a little relevance again. When he’s not talking drywall, Mario spends most of his spare time cheering on his kids at soccer games and never turns down a good Chile Relleno.

Clinton started with the company over five years ago as an evening shift supervisor and quickly became someone we could count on to step up whenever needed. When we brought night shift operations back, Clinton volunteered to move to nights and was a huge reason the startup was successful. Turns out keeping a plant running overnight requires someone who knows what they’re doing.

After moving into maintenance and becoming a Maintenance Supervisor, Clinton and his team have done an outstanding job keeping the plant running during some of our busiest stretches. A lot of our success during those times is directly tied to their efforts, even if the maintenance department usually only gets noticed when something breaks.

Congratulations to Clinton on a well-earned promotion and everything he’s done to help keep our plants running.

This week, Team RUCO hit the links in support of Kidz2Leaders; an incredible organization dedicated to providing stability, opportunity, and a strong Christian community for children of incarcerated parents, helping break the cycle for good.

While we’re proud to be the choice of professionals on the jobsite, it turns out we’re professionals mainly in our own minds on the golf course. Still, Team RUCO showed up ready to compete, contribute, and confidently stripe a few drives toward the fairway with varying degrees of success. We gave it a pretty solid effort, but if you’ve played scramble golf before, you know there’s always at least one foursome posting a score that requires a federal audit.
